Gah!! This ol body will be 58 in a few weeks... it's worn down to like 85 tho... kinda like an old truck that has made it over the hill but now it's picking up speed... the frame is bent and the tires are bald, the brakes worn out, the windshield is pitted and covered in dust and there is a switchback ahead on this steep gravel road with a teenaged adrenalin junky behind the wheel!!

in BIG 30 news we've spent 2 weeks observing and releasing inactive pilots. some of them were on the BIG 30 list. i'd like to add that any pilot removed from the squad for inactivity is eligible for re-hire. we all have lives so i consider it an honorable discharge and they can rejoin us any time they become active again. the reason we do this is to open places for new pilots to fill.

so this week our list jumps around a bit again. we see the top 3 pilots all jump up a rank, and this week we see the return of Raz to the squad and BIG 30 list. good to have you back! other notable rankups come from E*A*G*L*E moving up to the #9 spot, and Grim Repo keeps wing 2 in the news by taking #25! we also welcome ACEFREELY to the number #30 spot. welcome to the big list bud!

great job to all of our listed pilots, and to all of our hard working G.I's. we have built a name for ourselves in the game and on the forum. with our allies we comprise a very unique organization within the dogfight community. thank you all for what you do!

Well, I have been flying alot this week. I hope you guys learned the following from my example:

First, you never give up, you scratch ,crawl,bite, toss rocks, etc to overcome your enemy. Its how I live, how I walked again after an accident that should have put me in a chair. To be less motivated is a slap in the face to the memories, legacies and examples set before me from those Navy Hospital Corpsman who came before me.

Second: When you screw up admit it. Saying sorry never hurts. Real men do it, and sometimes cry too. Its never acceptable to go on the offensive our of pride. Humble out, act like an adult.

Third: You can never have too much ,fun, beer, chicken wings or hot sauces. I am often adding ghost pepper sauce to a habenero blend for an extra oomph. In fact, it could very well be the fuel of tomorrow. All I know is it took getting used to in my maple syrup butpancakes with heat could be a new craze.

Fourth: Check your health. I had a heart cath done three weeks ago. By checking myself out, I prevented a heart attack. The scary part is, it may have happened anytime. My dad died at 62, brother at 60. No way was I ready to hear my cardiologist tell me that probably before my next birthday (#54 in July), I would have had my first. Family history says, first one is last one.

Fifth: Fly each day as if you may never fly again. Replace fly with live, love, laugh,etc, you get the idea.

So as I return to my wolf ways, here's the keys to your rental plane back. Dont mind the holes,the misfits loved tearing me up.Send Viper the bill...one final mission as a Gunner Inc rented wolf, it was fun. Loved the strippers in the officer club, but you guys need some classier beers...

I liked that bit, Navmed. All of it is great advice! We don't often see each other in the skies, but you're a good guy and a great wolf~~~~~

Oh I should also say something about this game. My teammate Guitarter at one point made it over to bomb, so I gave him some assistance, but he never bombed. He flew all the way over just to try and spawn kill. Then on my last bomb run I shot down wwwII, and then was heading in to get the last two hangers when Guitarter started shooting at me from behind. It was clearly intentional, because as I was trying to evade him, he wasn't going for wwwII, but chasing me. Good thing he is a bad shot.

The player with the name Donald trump is also a teamkiller and bombs his own hangers..just in case another GI brother or sister is in game with him.
