you know, i wish i could still level up, i'd certainly be motivated to rise up in the ranks. as it is right now i have been banging my head against the wall of world rank 66 for about a month. the scenery is getting stale lol.

it's great to see our pilots moving forward non stop. that makes me happy beyond words. i am always proud of this team, but seeing all the positive posts just reinforces the fact that we are moving in the right direction.

thank you to all of our awesome pilots for being patient, communicating, and inspiring squadmates. no one can run this thing alone, and i am glad we are all working together. keep up the great work gunners inc!!!

gunners inc is not what i would call an exclusive squad. we let pretty much anybody in. our main strategy is not to recruit big pilots, but to get small ones and develop them into killers and future leaders of the squad! if big pilots join up then all the better. we expect established pilots to offer the new ones assistance and encouragement.

a negative side effect of being such an open squad is we get many fake accounts that join and plenty of inactive pilots. identifying and removing inactive or fake pilots is a job that goes to the 4 wing leaders.

dogfight had a new update which has caused us to rewrite our policy on inactive pilots. actually, i should say it has caused us to write a policy. the update has a 'last seen' feature on the profile of pilots in your own wing. this is a great new feature that i am in love with. you guys and gals have no idea how much writing and clicking i have had to do in the past to check on inactive pilots lol

so, effective 1/24/15 our new policy is:

Any pilot that has not been seen by the dogfight app for more than 90 days will be placed under review by their Wing Leader.

i think this is a fair policy. it allows for people to still go on vacation without fear of being removed. in the end, the wing leaders already know who is and who isn't around so it will all be up to them. i feel that the wing leaders we have in place are more than capable of running their wings however they see fit. currently my wing is full with 50 pilots so i will be starting this policy on wing 1 immediately.

i want to add this new 90 days thing will take rank into account.

i can't speak for nix, kk or pink. but i think a group captain or air marshal being gone for 90 days or more is a bit different than a lieutenant being gone for 90 days. if you have gotten to level 22 or higher and want to take a break to not go insane, by all means do it. just drop a line saying 'i'll be back'

the only job of lieutenants is to get to level 15 quickly. if they take 90 days off before getting to level 15 we don't need them. we are an active squad.

I was going to ask if you still wanted that account to be kept active in wing 2. I will kick it from the squad now, but if you ever have to fall back on it again, just apply to join with it and you'll be accepted, Bro!

calling all gunners it is time for the news! the most recent update has kept me busy checking things out with the squad. i noticed one thing that was kind of alarming. we have four pilots that have over 10,000 kills in the squad that have not been awarded medals. in the case of mayday he joined us with like 30,000 kills, but if you want a medal i'd be glad to give it to you. the other 3 are aissa, Aviv, and slyguy. i have seen them around the forum but they don't post on this thread so i hope we can get them in here to claim some medals!

in top 20 news JesseJames makes it to 15! congrats bud! mighty left the squad so everyone below him got a bump up. that means Pinkstar makes it to the top 20 and gets her name in dark blue! also we see SavageViking join us again. good to have you back!

i'd like to announce a promotion. Armament has been doing much good work on giving the gunners inc website a facelift. R E Z made a fantastic banner that we are using as the website's headline. i plan to "relaunch" the website in the coming days. as we are getting it all together we will need a webmaster to call the site home. so i'd like to announce Armament as the g.i webmaster! congrats!

it is always nice to see your posts and comments on the forum. i am glad to see g.i's have been mostly patient with all the updating and craziness. remember we all play this game for fun so let's keep our focus on that. see you in the skies!

american presidents have a tough job. a lot of expectations and no shortage of criticism. i think if a president can obtain a 51% approval rating they are doing ok lol you'd have to be a little nutso to want that job anyway.

So why does it say "Kamikazi King has been kicked from squad" on squad chat?

As most of u know..I have either misplaced my kindle or it has been stolen..so I have left Gunners Inc for the time being..I WILL be back I will either try to find it..or even get an IPad mini..who knows..but I just decided to let y'all know before y'all think I have betrayed u..

Don't worry, Keel! I am still here! It says that when I kick someone from the squad. It doesn't say the name of the person who is kicked, just the name of the person who kicked them.

I post my Top 10 every week, but I keep an eye on the entire squad. The Top 20 of wing 2 are all level 18 or above. I am thinking of extending the Top 10 to a Top 20. I would like your thoughts on this before I do it. Please let me know what you think.

Is there a way to kill off some of these guys?

At one point I was down to level 14 in our squad but now I'm maintaining for a long time at 17.
