is it just me or has the game become somehow, harder, since the update? the addition of details is good, but I think the lag has increased and it is somewhat more difficult to aim. anyone else feel the same way?

Having a Grinch moment: I missed something... what was the update? What noticeable difference? Also, what is the scuttle about pay to play update? Is that real? Will paying be expensive? Will it eliminate lag?

that is a lot of questions! the dogfight app has changed to a monthly subscription. it is still available for free, but the paid version allows instant game access and will help generate revenue so echoboom can stay in business. the paid version costs $1.99 per month.

if you would like, you can enter the g.i holiday contest. i am giving away 3 free subscriptions to dogfight.

as far as lag, if users are running different versions of the game, it is hard for them all to be in sync with each other. i would strongly recommend updating the app at your earliest convenience. the windows 8.1 update worked very smoothly for me. i didnt even need to uninstall/ reinstall the app.




armament- when i have played the game a bit more i'll let you know my thoughts about the aiming.

Give it time Armament. As soon as zup gets some cash from folks updating and subscribing, he will be able to rent the faster servers. It takes a while for the payments to reach zup from the different stores, once the cash reaches him we will see a much greater reduction in lag.

i am just happy i was able to update the game so easily. it has never been that simple before. i like all the new additions, but it will take time to get used to it. the thing that i think we all lack sometimes is patience.
