Pistolpadre here, I thought I'd swing by and say hi to our GI friends.. Wow, it seems my timing is pretty good and I can join in the congratulations for IM, I've been in a couple of games with him, and like all (ok.. Most all.. Lol) GI pilots he's a model of friendship, and talent.. That you're also a new father is just our Lords way of saying well done..

You guys have so much positive energy it has me smiling like I'm all alone in a bring down the Zep game.. It's so great to see a Squad come together as actual friends.. And in honesty that has spilled over to our corner of Dogfight as well, we're much smaller, but we share the same since of "family"..

On a related note, and because we honestly do feel related to you guys I want to fill you all in on a change in our squads leadership.. As of yesterday our Skipper named Viper as his executive officer (XO) giving him control over the day to day running of the Squadron.. This move was made to allow Digger to spend more time with his wife while she continues to fight and we pray recover from a serious illness. I'd like to ask all of you to keep her (Mindy) in your prayers along with our brother James and his wife Teresa who are also dealing with health issues.. Prayer is universal, it exists in all cultures and religions, and is beautiful in its simplicity..

Should any of you ever feel the need of simple prayer, or to have an old grey haired geezer (this would be me) simply listen to a problem, please know PMs are private, as is prayer unless you'd like one posted.. Bottom Line is my door is always open.. Course that's because my baby brother Blacky stole it to make a cocktail table out of.. Ok dear friends a game in Asia is calling.. God Bless!

hi gi's! what a week it has been...a real pleasure. despite the vicious lag and general confusion i managed to see many of you in the sky. i also bumped into many g.i's in world chat, and our thread has been poppin. it is great to have so many active squad members to interact with.

in top 20 news, Siedz Solo makes a splash by hopping up to the #4 spot! movement within the top 5 is always fun to see. overtaking a top 5 pilot of g.i takes a ton of effort to say the least, so congrats solo! another pilot to get a headline is Khemist Ace, his efforts pay off with a jump to #12! congrats to khem.

this week brought us excitement in more ways than one with a couple level ups and . !m receiving the gunners inc 10k medal. i will get your banner made up soon! we also see an addition to our family with the formation of a female wing: gunners inc. angels. i think it's an interesting idea and we will stick with it to see if it "takes off"!

KK has left command of wing 2 to Elim for the time being as he will be assisting with forming up the Angels. i had a chat with khemist ace and jessejames over at wing 3. we are all committed to making that wing succeed but we will need help. if any air marshals of g.i are looking for a change of pace wing 3 is a good place to gain some experience.

it has been a great week with you all! thanks for all your hard work and positivity. the g.i thread is a good place to see squad members sharing in each others' accomplishments. some things you just can't buy. see you in the skies!

seriously though, thank you to all of our awesome g.i's that keep this thread alive day after day. there hasn't been many times that our thread has been pushed to page 2.

also i'd like to extend that thanks to all of our guests that come in and say hi. it's great to see the dogfight community extending their welcome to us. thanks!

Hell of a fight. despite there being 2 top of the class misfits and me, Q Pole and ATOM!C held the defence. ATOM!C was having a really hard time, but never gave up. its almost impossible to switch sides, and mostly futile to try, on my platform, or I would have joined them.

finally had a game in which I was blue with aissa. if you recall, earlier I had said that I have NEVER been blue with aissa. (you don't get any points to guess the outcome of the game)

Sorry for vanishing from Dogfight for a little while! School is taking up my schedule! It can be hard with battling so many different rehearsals, basketball games, and coming on Dogfight. And plus, I tutor students after school everyday from 3:30 to 6 so I don't get home until 7-ish. Soooo yeahhhh.
And when I do come on, y'all aren't in squad chat? Like, where are y'alllll?

Anyways, just an update. And I wanted to say hey... sooooo....

I have invited a pilot Spranke to join GI.
plus points:
good pilot main strength is shooting (from what I know), fantastic kill ratio (4678/2862), global ranking 1061.
minus points:
seems to be an infrequent flyer, since I haven't seen him in a long time (again, from what I know).
we could very likely make a frequent flyer out of him.
I think he would be a valuable addition to GI. if you guys and gals see him, encourage him to join.

I want you all to know about the Lindt Cafe incident.
I dont kno y, but i am personally very much attached to the Australians. Australians are very good people, and very peaceful. Australia, the country is a very nice place, and attacks like this in such a place is disturbing.

I just want pray that all the Australians in GI and other squads of DF are safe!
Although the operation is over now, and i dont kno what happened to the 'gunman' , but I just hope everyone is safe.

There are couple of persons I kno very well, who are from Australia, Manic and Elim, I hope they are safe and sound.

There was one Indian, and he's safe!

I hope people of Australia, and everyone else from the world, be safe. coz terrorism is spreading like a virus nowadays and the 'State' is spreading its hand all over the world! This is one of the biggest problems that, i would say, HUMANITY is facing, besides global warming and all those stuffs!.

But Terrorism is the worst thing! I cant imagine people killing their own species!


At last, be safe, be healthy and we all are not afraid of such terrorists!!!!!!!! Everyone knows, at last, Goodness and faith always wins!
