Well, I've just read this discusion all the way trough to the end. Pluribus is -as many say- a point harvester, completely true. I would rather have a teamkilling aspirant join my team than pluribus. Why? The aspirant at least tries and is of some value to the blue effort (if not for the team killing, which if done relentlessly, will result in another open slot for a better (willing) player). I'm not a fan of ganging up on people, but by playing like this pluribus has just deserved this thread. He has been playing for about 3 years so he told, and for as far as I've seen (in older forum posts) has played like this his whole "career". Reaching the top 50 should only be reserved for the best of the best of Dogfight, in my opinion. Pluribus is clearly not the best of the best, as he's easier to shoot than an aspirant, and has less takeoffs.
On the "a pilot only has one live" matter, that I've heard pluribus uses, I agree. However, in all respect, this is a (simulation) GAME, not a real war. If you would only have one life in a war game there wouldn't be such popularity for games like "Call of Duty". I just like to think I (and every other Dogfight pilot) is terribly lucky to survive EVERY crash they have to suffer trough, and are able to fight on and prolong the "war". If you fly with that tought, you are able to respawn every time!
On the Paul Mantz matter. It's pathetic you are using charity work for your own reputational gain, and use disabled people to win an argument. It's even worse that you actually lie about donating money to a charity organisation, again for reputational gain. To those people I just wish all the worst.
And I know I'm definately NOT a saint, and I probably never will be, but at least I admit it. And I don't hide behind fake promises and fake deeds.
Well that was my say about it, I hope I didn't forget nor exclude anything or anyone!
See you in the sky!
