Although the komodo dragon doesn't actually have venom, the bacteria in its saliva (it salivates a lot) is even more deadly. It will hunt dear and other large animals, usually biting its victim once, then tracking it for hours. Once the victims dies, it feasts.

Kiler whales (I know they're not whales) work in pods for hunting. These incedibly intelligent creatures will beach themselves, grab their prey, and work their way back to the ocean. Each pod has its own unique language of clicks, but all of their languages are fairly similiar.

Frogs don't drink water, instead they hydrate by absorbing water through their skin (they also can absorb air through it too while underwater)

Most of a plane is made from lightweight aluminum. Mercury, the chemical found in thermometers, can destroy aluminum in minutes. This is why it’s forbidden to bring it on flights!

Nope, not gold! I think copper is the second fastest. In fact, today's fact will be about copper ;) copper is only about 10% slower than silver, when it comes to electrical conduction.

Back in the day (before anesthetics) a "saw bone" was judged in mainly one way: how fast they could amputate  a good saw bone could cut through a femur in a whopping 30 seconds!

Scientist are now building a 10 billion dollar Quarkatron to test a new theory, that all "quarks" are made of smaller entities, called "cheeps".

If they can harness cheep energy it is expected that by 2030 we will have an atomic power station in every home.

You laugh ?!!!
You think it is a joke?

"I think there is a world market for maybe five computers." -- Thomas Watson, chairman of IBM, 1943.

"There is not the slightest indication that nuclear energy will ever be obtainable. It would mean that the atom would have to be shattered at will." -- Albert Einstein, 1932.

"The bomb will never go off. I speak as an expert in explosives." -- Admiral William Leahy, U.S. Atomic Bomb Project.

Hah!! I laugh at your laugh!

Decompression sickness occurs when a scuba diver goes deep, and rises too quickly. This is because the diver breaths in more air (which is 70% nitrogen) when they are deeper down because the air taken in is compressed by the water's pressure, when they rise, the nitrogen basically forms bubbles in their blood vessels, which is truly awful. It is also called the "bends" because divers who get this double over with pain

Hello, I have missed a day, as I have been very busy lately. Here is yesterday's fact as well as today's.

1: the first amputation under anesthetic was in 1847, when the surgery was over, he asked,"when will you begin doctor?"

2: the largest tree of all time (its dead now) was in Australia, it was a 490 foot tall eucalyptus tree.
