What has happened to the game I once loved .not just the constant lag but the honor of pilots is all but gone .some of honor still try but most fly with ass hats spawn killers droppers and just plain dorks now rule the game .it makes me sick .zup please step up for us we need you now more than ever .as much as I want Df 2 I fear the bs here will just continue in that game as well .either set some rules to play by or watch your once beloved game go to hell .fix the lag issues once and for all please oh please help us out .this is a plea for help zup

Im with you buddy. the quality of people that play this game is going to hell in a hand basket, and fast. I used to play every spare moment I had, now only squeeze in a few games a week. Where have all the good times gone?

Here in Brasil (yes, it is written with an S, not a Z), we use to say that "some people didn't have a cot", to refer to those who didn't get good education from their parents. And sadly, these "cotless" players are all around nowadays...

It seems impunity reigns nowadays, i believe we need good moderators in game.

I can understand some noobs doing things in a bad way, and after you explain rules, etc. they change and that's good. The problem is with those that you mention things to and they come back with profanities, etc. I quickly report all these players, I just hope that Zup (or a moderator) is doing something about these reports).

I've banning a few people a day from the reports I get (for instance, Charles U.S. is now treating to lawsuit me because I banned him after reports from the community). It's the usual bs I get on daily basics.

So yeah, some bad apples will exists, but they don't go unpunished. I just don't post everyone that gets banned or muted in here because it is not what the forum is for.

Zup we thank you for giving bans out .but the sad part is for every one you ban three more show up .you can't even find a bombing mission anymore that some players want to turn into a dog fight .with all the non bombing missions you have could you please set some kind of basic courtesy rule for the bombing games .I played about 20 bombing games on Sunday not one was without a bunch of dorks both low and high ranks trying to dog fight or sneaking over to camp the base or ship .like I said I can see a noob dropping to stay alive for more than a second.but anything after group captain is just point mongering.it getting very old the noobs see high ranks doing it so they do it too .soon it will be why have any bombing missions .and with that will go a lot of revenue for you .sorry to say it but that's the facts

Rabbit I agree with you on the droppers, happens too often now.

I was in a game yesterday where I was 3 vs. 1, and then 4 vs. 1 (why was the server against me?), and the reds weren't using team chat, so I saw their strategy. One guy kept saying he would be the fighter and the others be the bombers. So he would drop, but would deny it or just say hehe. Then he was encouraging a team mate to sneak. I told him that if they start to sneak, or drop, then I will start dropping too.

I don't mind sneaking, I see it as a tactic, however, don't do it when you outnumber the other team (either in numbers or rank/skill).

But I think the main attitude that's out there is the "win at all costs". Those players with that attitude don't care about being fair, they don't care about everyone enjoying the game, they are the ones that just care about winning, or having a good KDR. Bubi is a good example, he likes to drop and then have that advantage to pat his numbers, best for him if they are noobs, then if he gets shot down he will leave because it messes up his KDR. There was one game where he was trying to sneak, but I found him and started to shoot him. Rather than get shot down, after two or three hits he would auto destroy. Really pathetic in my view.

These guys with the "win at all costs" attitude will say this is a war game and there aren't rules, but what they forget is that it's a game, and should be fun for everyone.

Yes yesterday I was in a dogfight mission with a noob, and told him I wouldn't shoot him as it would just be a slaughter, and I would wait for a higher ranked player before I got back into the game. He thanked me for that, and went after the other noob. I really don't see the point, and honor, when there is no challenge.

If you've been around long enough you will remember the mods .for all intents they served a purpose.not only did they keep the trolls out of the game but they kept the games separated.dog fighters and point mongers out of the bombing games so the guys that like the head on fighting slug fest could also enjoy they game .zup you don't want mods because it would be a nightmare for you so you need to put some rules out .let the bomber guys have their two games this way if a noob wants to learn to be a head on fighter he or she has a shot .I can see dropping when it's two against five so the two have a chance to defend that's cool with just about everyone in the game .what is pissing us of the most is that we have asked you repeatedly for help .you say you don't want to make rules it's fly so everyone can enjoy the game well guess what not all of can fly the way we want and enjoy the game .I pay my two bucks a month is it wrong for me to want to fly with like minded people and duke it out for a few hours in one game .I want to find noobs that want to learn head on fighting and have a chance to show them how like many others do .but it's become all but impossible now with all the dropping going on bombing missions have become a freaking joke .the droppers laugh at us head on guys especially the pc players that know they have every advantage in a turn fight .so they choose to pad their stats by playing in bombing missions were the guys that have bombs have to pay a weight penalty to me that's as bad as a spawnkiller and by the way most of the droppers just sneak over and freakin camp the base anyway no matter if they have a team of five against two .

I thought about that red but they would just end up like quark and do it even more to get their rank back .best option is just keep them out of the bombing games .they can either go dog fight with the big boys or learn to carry a dam bomb .my feelings were never hurt when I was learning to carry I just kept Carrington the bomb and taking on the big guns until I learned how to shoot while carrying.for me it was.damn I want to fly like that some day I wanted to work for my rank and gain respect from the older pilots simple as that .I don't know to many head on fighters that took the easy road

If somebody drops, he may be doing it for a good reason. He could be trying to fly escort for those who are carrying.

So you can't always say that dropping and sneaking are cheating.

I can see where you're coming from there. I've been up against 4 MORAF's as a noob and it's very frustrating.

K people I have the solution...Zup needs to create a 'slog it out room' in which you destroy enemy base and can only drop bombs on enemy hangars, you then r timed to get back and reload if you spend time flying around bombless u get a good point deduction,if u dont make it back to base in time ,same.This would allow minimum 'support' bollox and minimal cover fire for incoming colleagues.sometimes its nice to hunker down for a great slog it out, there are now a good variety of missions to allow this one to exist happily. Watcha think?

Sting Ray what are talking about is there are a great any of us that wish to carry our bombs and have a two or three hour game sneaking is fine and dandy when team's are even .no think of every one is carry I.g their bombs having fun just blasting away at each other trying to push the enemy back .now in comes a dropper everyone is still carrying and wants to continue to do so the dropper has all the advantage of being bombles he can out turn anyone with a bomb so one guy drops to fight him so another drops to take back the advantage soon the whole game just turns I.to a dog fight and the game that's been going on for an hour or two is now ruined .that is if you can find a bombing mission where there aren't already two or three dropper on one side is it wrong for us head on guys to want to be able to fly like we would like or do we have to fly like you want to suit you .go on and try to carry a bomb against a dropper and see just how old it gets being shot down .the object of the game is bomb not dog fight and that's just what theses guys want to do all the time .there are four no bombing games let them play those so we can play ours

We could just send Sting Ray after Bubi, and then see what he thinks about droppers.

I'm.liking sir kanes.idea about the time after dropping all your bombs you either carry or lose points and kills for not carrying

Also I forgot to add this in my last post how many times have guys been fighting head on and a dropper shows up in the game .even when asked by his own team to carry or leave they stay .they don't try to help.anyone but just fly around ahoothing the bombers only to pad their own stats even if the game has been going on for a bit and asked to leave by their own team just after they show up their response is always why don't you go find another game .that's not even showing any type of respect to anyone that's I'll.do whatever the **** I want and **** you all those are the morons that we hate that ruin games .

And if you ever noticed just about every dropper can't head on fight they can't really dog fight with the real dog fighters so this is the path they choose

The solution is to tighten up the tilt turn radius to match the PC one, by allowing the slider to adjust to get full aileron before having to hold the device behind your head. Once there is no advantage, then at worst a dropper will spin endlessly until he tries to shoot a laden plane, and then he will get smoked. I used to be able to chase certain famous droppers out of the game, now with the slower planes, multiple hits and lag it isn't so easy anymore. I've got to the point where I'll just slam the ground rather than let a PC dropper shoot me down, and usually try to ram them head on so they don't get the dvantage to begin with. What a fun game, huh? I've emailed Zup, and right now I have a lit fuze as to how long I'm going to be around as I'm tired of all the excuses, promises, and bullshit game play for the repetitive cost. For a few bucks, one time, I've played a similar game that has twice as many aircraft, no perpetual lag, and an even playing field. If they would get chat and a baord I would never come here.

I just wish the ctc, dogfight, and ctf games were on an even ratio with bombing games... sometimes i have to play over 6 or even 8 gams just to get one. Also on other days it's all dogfight missions, ctc, and ctf

I guess one way of achieving MK's timer idea would be to limit fuel. At present, fuel capacity is on the spec. sheet in the hangars but, at the moment, serves no purpose.

Fuel capacity could be limited so that you could only spend a short time over the enemy base. This would limit camping to a certain extent and reflect reality a bit more accurately; after all, the Luftwaffe fighters only had about 20 minutes flying time over England before having to either head home or face a dip in the English Channel.

a limit to fuel might encourage camping e.g. I don't have enough fuel to get home, so I might as well hang out here and get some kills till I drop out of the sky.

I think there should be a UFO over each base that zaps campers and span killers at my command as I'm the only one I trust with this power and I promise I won't abuse it

I think the timer for dropping on anything but the hangers is a wonderful idea .and with no repair after bombing camping has slowed but It still sucks when a droppers sneaks over and camps behind the base .

And before the drillers start to cry not one of them has ever heard your a dropper when their on the side of two guys against five or six

All we want is our bombing games back and to be able to play our games

Actually, I went against him today and he had 2 bombs and I still couldn't get him off my 6! I know he had them cuz he bombed 2 of the hangars!
