I've tried many times to encourage some of these guys to be decent to other players. They don't get it. They usually take offense to it and call me a troll or "dense" now. Lol.
I should go through and make a sample of their "flame" posts. Lol! Don't worry, I don't really care that much. Weatherman, Bezerk and Pete/nuts are the most prolific of the flame writers. Just take a look at their post history on their profiles, anywhere that is not actually on the Misfit thread. A good number of them are flame posts.
I could find my first admonition I posted while I was still in their squad. I made it after I had been flying "undercover" for a few days. I found that the Misfits as a generalization were the most likely to try to tell other people how to play and they would be rude about it. I asked that the squad back off a bit and not be such jerks to other pilots and squads. I said it made "us" look bad. They didn't like that. Why? I don't know. They are good to each other. They will help each other in the game and IRL if they are called upon. So why would they gang up and bash other players?
They circle the wagons and go after anyone that one of them has a problem with regardless of what the issue is. There may be a post or two where someone checked another squad mate for being out of line but it was only for very egregious circumstances.
Why can't they just be respectful? Who knows? Many Misfits are good to the rest of the community but three of the officers are ... (obtuse knuckleheads?)
Watch, someone will come on here saying I just want to hear myself talk or that I'm just "butt hurt" over being mistreated by the squad, or that I'm not making any sense. (Straw man fallacy.

) I'm not making false or exaggerated accusations here. I'm telling it how it is. I guess they're jerks because that's just who they are. (Nice badge BZ)
I guess I'll just put on my wings, sing ode to joy and stand up for the guys they try to bash.
