I would be happy to help in any way I can. I am one more interested in making this as exclusive as possible so you can see the very top players exclusively own this or it will be like the rock and roll hall of fame if you know it's story. I would suggest:

3 votes every 6 months and voting open for a month. So every June and December everyone can vote and chose 3 players names.

At the end of the voting months the votes are tallied and any player with 5 or more votes is in.


You can have an honorable mentions section for players who are close and I think a hall of shame is too negative for online gaming... we know who they are (funny haven't seen Ken the Zero and KAF1 in some time )
I could make a quick website that had a form that players could use (Or if someone knows how to make one on here) to submit their votes so Sky Ripper simply gets

I think also to help that votes need to be the correct pilot name in game right now to count, then it will be posted soon after you vote if one or more of the names is ambiguous or votes accepted, so players can see if their submission was good or not. This also should help if someone is pretending to be them or help cut down on confusion and fraud.

Perhaps this could be helped by Zup at a later date since he is busy with updates now, but it would be great if we could have a players list somehow and even better if we could just select players in game and mark them for hall of fame. The system would track the submitting player and players nominated in one go and eliminate confusion.

This isn't too far off what I was thinking, I was thinking 1player per month. But again you raise some good points here. I am totally on board with the no hall of shame, we have the blacklist. Want this to be 100% positive. Have to give this another look.

I know I said I would provide details on the new Hall of Fame by week's end. But we're still working out the details and not quite ready to unveil it just yet.
Here's a sneak preview!
The new Hall will be totally dedicated to recognizing the Best of the Best.
There will not be a Hall of Shame, this will be 100% positive!
There will be separate nomination and voting periods,AND the nominations and votes will be limited.
The templates for the lists are under construction.
The new Hall of Fame will be up and running on April 1st!
Also, there will be a few "Guardians" of the Hall so that more than one person will have access to the lists and records, so if anything should happen, the Hall and process will continue on!

Maybe all the controversy and negativity throughout the game and forum has the last couple days has got to me. But, it got me thinking about all this.
As I have stated several times, THIS IS CALVIN'S THREAD! This is / was his idea.
I saw something positive starting to die out and wanted to try to save it. It was never and still is not my intention to hijack this thread or idea.
Calvin, When and if you return to this thread. I have all the names and votes tallied up to this page and will be happy to provide them to you. Again, wasn't trying to take over, just continue something positive.

I do still want to do something to recognize the Greats that have played and still play this game. To all those that have been helping with ideas and such, I will let you know what I have planned.
