99% i am not....but in a dogfight match today...i had to do a little....i was low on ammo and a guy just spawned on the base i was gonna land on and repair....so i killed him before he could get me....besides that....i might fly really close or shoot below them to scare them(out of fun...)...but i will never shoot a person taking off

or unless i coming in to bomb......

This question is this: if theyre red also know as "the enemy", "the person trying to shoot you" than why is it so important how the feel? Why does it matter more than how "your team feels"? You know "the person whos the same color, having yoir back" the way i see it is...win the game however you want and really you shouldnt care how anyone else feels about it. Yeah sure they might get mad if theyre red. But im sure once theyre blue, they will be more than glad to have you. So i say this, camp, sneak, spawnkill, and drop if you have to. Cause really all that matters is when that screen pops up and it tells you if "your a winner or loser". Which will you choose?

The base that is cover fire other than that i bomb i leave. Useless im.shot at then i defend myself. I never spawn kill. I do fire when m coming in on a bomb run but i dont target the spanw point. It all.comes down to.personal integrity. And dont. Forget ive seen you bitch when you get spwan killed over and over. So if you dont like it done to you why do you do it to others

The only spawn kills I've done is when I keep hitting an already destroyed target, I dunno I always find it funny

Ok.heres a.question if your good enougb to fight your way over and bomb a hanger or a ship. Then that means you have some skills.and if your skillls.are good.enough to do that then.wh do you feel.the need to spawn kill.

I have one goal in a bombing mission. Once I get to your base, I want the game to be over. I'll stick around, hoping to let my entire team in for the rest of the game. If I'm against a good player, it's a TERRIBLE idea for me to let him off the runway. The higher level you are, the harder I'll try to Spawnkill you. Then, I'll send a message in chat: "LOCK.YOUR.BRAKES"

And my teammates usually win. When I play, I do what's best for my teammates. You don't like it, those brakes are always there for ya.

Well.i thought it was in there and your right i cant find it either. So i am.sorry for that statement. But spawn killing has always been a bannable offense. The only reason no.one has been banned for it is theres no mods. And zup cant watch everything. No you tell.me.im.wrong about spawn killing. Actually I believe the only ban offense that concerns spawnkilling is if you are doing it with your tank on or next to the runway spawn point.

Other than that there are no 'rules' against spawnkilling.. and definitely nothing prohibiting 'camping' (thank gosh 'cause I LOVE camping! )

The spawnkilling is petty and unfair practice.
Is like shooting an unarmed man, that can not defend himself. If you are brave you shoot him from front and not from behind.
The spawnkilling is a sign of cowardice, and no matter what excuse they use to justify it.

Also I dont agree at all with the original post. From my point of view spawn killing is bad, period. No excuse for it. Everybody does it eventually because it just happen but setting a rule to when it is ok is completely unnecessary.

What's the trouble Darraxx. I said that I would respond later when I can use my computer. This is so I can better search and quote old posts. It's not so easy on my phone. I don't know how many times I've prepared a lengthy response only to lose it to a phone call.

I also said in PMs that there is no reason for this to be any sort of drama if we just stick to the facts. Since you are demanding that I respond now, (late lunch at a restaurant) I'll just point out that there are numerous times when spawnkilling is widely considered justifiable. Some people (and moderators when they were a thing) draw the line more conservatively than others. Basically, there is no fine line that says that you will be banned if you spawn kill. The game cannot be programmed to enforce it as an offense.

My stance has always been that I think there should be a 5-15 second period of immunity upon spawning and the issue would die.

Its not hostility. You called me on something and im calling you on something. You have been here long eonugh to know that spwan killers have always gotten the boot. You dont need to dig up facts. The fact is that you know it. You were here before i started playing. And thats the way it was. You spawn kill you get the boot.now at the beginning of this thread. You may noitce im not accusing anyone. Sang has told all of df he is a spawn killer. And my question to him is why. Hes a good pilot and does not need to spawm kill. Ive seen him blow through many planes and get a hanger. He has skill and so does mac. So the game goes on for a bit longer big deal. Look at it this way if you do.t spawn kill maybe you will get more kills than you think possible

Obviously you dont read the posts so.lets get it straight right now. Shooting as you go in on.a bombing run is cool with everyone.but to hang around without an incoming plane or tank to.protect not But to bomb and then stay. And kill.a pilot as.he spawns is not. Agreed. Or is killng a.pilot as he spawns with no planes or tanks near the base good for you

I think you guys are comparing apples to Orange Julius.. as far as I am aware there was only ONE type of spawnkilling that was a ban offense and that was spawnkilling with a tank. Other than that spawnkilling was just considered to be distasteful (by some) but not anything that could get you banned or blacklisted and then banned.
Heck some of my favorite pilots were PRO spawnkillers! None of them were ever banned for it. Because of them I learned how to use my brakes as well as time my takeoffs! I personally don't approve of spawn killing, but I have never told anyone that it is wrong to do it... not in my squadron nor in the game itself... it's a personal choice. Just like sneaking or dropping or camping.. all of which are NOT ban offenses.

Many squads have rules against it. There have been moderators who have kicked people from games because of it. I would venture that they may have implimented temporary bans due partly to it. But banned solely for spawnkilling from a plane?

Nope.

I could quote dozens of posts but proving a negative is not an easy task. If you really believe that it's a bannable offence, stand and deliver!

And once again, I do not condone spawnkilling. I rarely even do it while finishing a bombing run. (rarely, not never) I admit that I do it vendictively sometimes but it stays in the game.

Just expect it. If you go saying that there are "rules" about things when the truth is that there are none, I will contradict you. It is not personal. It's just that I have looked into it extensively. It is not drama unless someone gets all emotional about it. I admit that my "Hear ye!, Hear ye!" post was snarkey but come on, you were insisting that I respond NOW when I told you in PM that I would when I got a chance to spend some time on it. I also see that you posted something on the [M] thread about me trying to draw you in. Be real. Please. I'm not against you. If the rules change so will my stance on this subject. Until they do I believe that in most cases complaining causes more harm to the community than the act.

actually...yea...there is that one rule when you first join the game that all the hangars must be destroyed to win....but thats it......nothing about spawn killing....camping....tanking....dropping.....etc....
