A town in England called Staines-upon-Thames, it is famous for the magna carta being signed 1 mile away (possibly the most important document ever written...where the constitution idea borrowed many of its ideals) (check it out on Wikipedia) it is also famous for a scene in the movie "The Omen" in which st.peters church is used (I walk past it on my way to the gym) and more recently home to the character "Ali-G" from the movie "Ali-G In da house" and home of the band "Hard-Fi".

i've seen some minnesota people around! glad to see the state is well represented in the skies. i live in moorhead, mn. we are famous for having a stupid river that flows north and floods like crazy. see: fargo/moorhead flood fight 2009. also the movie fargo, which doesn't really have anything to do with the city of fargo, but we sure get a "kick" out of woodchippers.

I'm a born and raised California girl! :lol: I lived in San Diego and for five years I lived on a 51ft sail boat, competing in yacht races and going to dock parties. ;) I now live in Tennessee, on my 8 acre farm and I love it! :)

I live in Bloomington Minnesota. Here's a few descriptive points of my area (20-30min nearest walking distance to a bus stop)(Metro Transit) still cold even in early April, the Mall of America is really close to my apt, and I'm surrounded by nature Lol

What part of Tennessee are you in, I'm in knoxville. Also was born and raised in calif. Irvine, Santa Ana, Compton and Modesto.
Moved to Tennessee about 5 years ago

I used to fly into BROWN airfield outside of San Diego and landed several times into the main San Diego airport. I remember flying over the hill and then dropping onto the runway.

Originallly I am from Era, Texas and currently live in Sanger, TX. I spend most of my time in Denton, TX cause it is quite a bit larger than most of the northern part of my county.

Got another California girl here too!

Raised in sunny San Diego, and lived most of my life on Coronado Island, just across the bay. I lived there because my father was stationed on the naval base on the island.

I'm now stationed on Camp Pendleton. It's near Oceanside, CA; which isn't too far away from San Diego.

I don't remember any one building but I remember the downtown buildings to the left. It's such a beautiful area isn't it. I only landed there a few times a year and usually with a Cessna 402.

Flying anywhere in southern calif is spectacular.

Chattanooga, TN. You can tell the transplanted folks there because they pronounce it Chatt-n-ooga & leave out the "a" between the "t" & the "n." Natives pronounce it exactly as it's spelled. My dad had a restaurant across the street from the Chattanooga Choo Choo before I was born. After years of living in SC, ID, UT, & 2 years in South Korea, I landed on the Emerald Coast of Florida, which figures since I'm not much of a beach guy.

Your totally rite Davy it is spectacular. I always loved flying in there on a nice clear sunny day when the view was all yours. Only problem was it went by too fast.
How about that small air field, can't recall the name, it was close to Hwy 163. Aircraft use to fly close over a 163 bridge over pass. Thrilling. I liked going to Browns field when they had an air show, thought it was a perfect location for it.
