We are friends and we can argue and disagree.
As long as we are respectful. And this has been so.
We remain friends and if I felt differently I would be the first to request disappearance.
How has OUR FORUM grown and developed? Not deleting all that create discussion.

I've been here for a while and have enjoyed the development of our method of communication.

Allow disagreements (within reason) as well as we share prayers and best wishes for our friends.

Thanks dent. I forgave rich for that thing long ago. Long story short Rich got banned because rich likes to fight private wars and is the frontman and scapegoat of others stirring the pot and cheering him on. While they laugh and love the internet drama. I left mom and friends behind because of it and am with new friends and some old friends as well. Could care less about what tag is over my head my friends here know who they are. Continue to stir the pot yell from a rooftop I could seriously care less about any drama especially when im not even associated a t all with richs banning. Me him n Biggs ended our feud long before his ban.

Bravo Mr. DoGss Bravo! From the first time I read something you posted all the way up in till now you have made a 180 turn in how you conduct yourself. Unless wig is wright for you, you have found the power of killing them with kindness. Letting the shuttle jabs roll of your back takes a lot of practice and it appears to me that you have been doing just that. Great work on your part in not taking part in the back and forth that this cold have turned into.

It was said earlier in this thread that Roo was one of the players that kept a person coming back. Well Roo was also one of the players that kept me coming back along with all of you guys and gals. I see Roo as a very passionate person when it came to this game, not a passion in such a way that he needed to control it but passionate that everyone's experience from that first game they played was the best that it could be. Even the situation that sent him off in to a rage had the backbone of poor game play by most likely some 12 year old kid that was playing for free and saying crud and unacceptable things to another player (Ms.Roo) and yes everyone of us may have handled it differently however I was not there and maybe I would of handled it just the same if not worse (again wasn't there and we all have are boundaries and limits to what we tolerate).

This is just a game? Yah right! This is a community and a young one at that. Boundaries are being set and pushed every day. That's called growth. Like a child being told don't touch that it will burn you! What happens? They touch it just to find out for themselves. The situation has established that some lines can not be crossed. We all have learned from this.As it was said earlier you can't go into another mans house and tell him how to run things without being asked to leave (something on those lines). I would like to think that if they put as much effort into what ever situation as Roo did to the game/community maybe they might get invited back over? After a cool down period.

Anyway just my two cent plus about a dollar.

I would nothing more than for zup to come on this thread and ok we will give the roos one more chance . But I remember reading something zup wrote when richy got banned it was something a long the lines of "banned for life period". As much as I don't like it i think he put the period in for a reason.

And sometimes the lack of an answer merely illustrates a person's lack of communication, lack of time, lack of priority, or lack of recognition of priority. Note how long it took for "action" to occur, even interpretable as him having passed it as water under the bridge; but then final action was taken, and few understood it. The silence or communication lag on even important matters is one of the things that drives me nuts. And which is it, silence or communication lag? In the absence of anything, you simply don't know.

Don't get me wrong - I support Z's eventual action, but only because I'm willing to take a lot on faith, lots that I wasn't privy to but Z said existed.

Note that once he does speak up, Z usually makes a lot of sense. I just hate seeing my inbox flooded with frustrated queries during those infinite peiods of waiting (hate the frustration of it, not any of you).

When i started this game for my brother,i saw it as a game,then as a social gathering of a plethera of ideas and interests.For a while i tried to see what Kevin saw,and why he chose his account title legendofkane. My digging lead me to his books,a character named Kane written by Karl Edward Wagner..a redheaded warrior from a race whos creator used them like playthings,Kane led a rebellion and his entire world/race was wiped from existence,save Kane. His punishment was everlasting life,immortality..sorta like Highlander,but Kane could not be killed,though close several times,as he embraced it,he would be snapped back to life by his creator.He was known for his ice blue eyes,a stare no man would keep for long,through time he led armies and became kings many times over with no regard for morality since humans only lived a second of his lifetime.Joaquin is the creator of dogfight,he could simply pull the plug and end it all if he wished..true?..if he did,would you all have each others email?,phone numbers?..would you ever 'SEE' each other again?..if this decision was going into legal grounds,and say Joaquin lost somehow,and DF was shut down,would you feel better for the Roos' victory and never play again,and leave this community forever?..or respect the decision the creator made and continue to have fun,debate,discuss,and use this game as an escape from our lives,if even for a minute?..I choose Joaquins decision,based on the knowledge of the entire situation ON BOTH SIDES and for the time and love he has put into DF. Btw: I saw a earlier post where someone had expressed doubt over the possibility of legal problems for Zup . I had some conversations with brother who is an attorney who specializes in international law.He was saying how there are so many different legal systems in the world that it is almost impossible when stating strong opinions to avoid offending someone out there. This may not be a problem if you start home and do not travel or do any business which crosses any borders, but if you do it can be hard to predict the ramifications. Even with the anonymity of this forum i would not mention the countries my brother travels to and the troubles he runs into by being able to"influence" people he interacts with. Many countries don't havecourts which operate on a precidence system and are instead run by the judge's personal opinion . This can really make things unpredictable for what we may see as a mater of basic rights. Something as simple as crude vulgarity on the forum could make it dangerous for Joaquin to travel to some places, or he could lose the rights to offer the game in some places.

I know this may sound ridiculous to many of us but to others it can be a matter of personal security.

I hate the word "shut-down" when talking about dogfight. In my dogfight dictionary there are words like 'forever','fun', 'friends', 'forum', 'family', 'falcon', 'fight', 'fly', elite, squad, plane, shoot, land, take off, don't spawnkill, don't teamkill, bomb, hanger, carrier, bridge ... etc but not shut down. When some one mentions shut down when talking about Dogfight it makes my heart freeze.

I support Zuperman in EVERY way...Zuperman doesn't need to respond and we don't need a bunch of whine going on and begging and pleading.....it reminds me of pictures and videos that certain "individuals" dislike or are hostile too even though Swoppy personally believes they are VERY funny...for the Forum IS full of drama and repetitive whine like the picture and the other video that are currently in this thread...for the this thread in its entirety remind me of both...

Whip, you know I have a lot of time and respect for you for all you did when I was starting out, but this seems like you are backing zup into a corner. With the best of intentions I think you are harming Richys chances of returning. If he is forced into a decision it will surely be no. I think a few discrete PMs or emails appealing to Joaquins better nature will go a lot further than trying to get a very public reversal so soon after a very strong decision to ban him permanately. I'm not here to ruffle feathers, I would like to see the Roos return, but it won't do anybody any good trying to railroad zuperman into a decision he doesn't want to make now.

Point taken. As I said Zup doesn't have to do anything...I don't think saying Zup should say at least something is going to change the actual decision he makes or has already made. The problem is who knows. My point is lets end this whole mess and stop all the talking about it and let us know. We put effort in and I still stand by the fact I think we deserve an answer. I will be cool with no I promise. I have made all the points that can be made and I do believe that continuing to rant back and forth wont help so I'm done and await an answer.

How many chances did Roo have before he was banned? And what were his replies and promises when he got away from his first chance (Ban) (way prior to this ban).
Someone please go back and find Roo's Promises and replies during his first possible ban...(not this one).
Post them here if they are avialable.
Do you remember what Roo did to be so close to the first ban? No matter how pissed off you are there is no call for what he did.
