That apparently is not the case here.

Two recent threads and other individual posts were deleted by multiple moderators after some discussion in the moderator group. The posts were getting out of hand, with overly graphic content that was not suited for the younger and mixed audience. Spelling it out: Joking is one thing, innuendos can be funny too, but the constant barrage of innuendos takes it over the line to vulgarity. Subtle becomes in-your-face.

Can we be done now?

Hope I didn't offend anyone, it was all meant to be humor. I know I got a lot of laughs over it. Since i highly, and i do mean highly, respect the moderators i will not cry much. You all have a job to do and you do it well.

Personally i thought it was all ok, To me it was more about life than vulgarity. To me vulgarity is about language and I've seen posts on squadron treads that were highly offensive, jokes about life if it is free of language is just about humor.

Was it crude, yes I will give you that, over the top, ehhhh, maybe but i don't think so. I would be interested in knowing how other people felt.

Given all that, you moderators do great work and i know everyone appreciates you. Im only crying a little bit.

I agree with Manfred and I agree with G to PG....... nothing more.

vulgarity takes many forms and life doesn't have to be vulgar and humor doesn't have to be vulgar and vulgar is beyond just language.

If I was out of line, My Apologies, I certainly did not try to be. You guys have a hard and thankless job which is appreciated. Many grey areas to patrol, to act with tact and humility is not easy. I certainly do not envy that, as well as the times your judgement/actions are questioned. I know that what you do is best for the community as a whole.

If I delete a thread (on purpose). I will usually post a reason or comment somewhere (which I did on another thread that got deleted)
As far as joining in on the fun, ( what fun!!). I didn't see it as fun. I saw it was going no where, over the top and past the line.

Lastly, I would of thought that you being the "owner" of said thread, could of kept it clean and save us "mods" who had a hand in the deletion of the threads some time.

Honestly I could not have told you who had started those threads. After they spiraled out over the line and were deleted, they weren't viewable.

I don't really see the difference between a public Why Deleted post versus a PM to an Original Poster who might have no input or control over how the thread runs. But point taken, a PM might be more polite, to give a heads up.

Davy, the content of the deleted threads was perverted. The term perverted is anything that is the opposite of something right. The content was wrong!!! I have had to delete and edit some of your posts in the past due to the in fitness of them for minors...........Don't flame here if you don't like what trinity said. There are a whole bunch of young players who have complained to me about the content here. As far as the language you said was on here, well I don't read every post on this forum. That's why there are many mods here. Content such as what was on the deleted threads are not FUN!!!!......I thanked trinity because he was a forum user who stood up. More users should!!!!
