My addiction to this game has gotten out of hand. I'm slacking behind work and wife is giving me mucho crappo about not spending time together anymore. I'll be honest, I tried to leave before but went about it the wrong way, thinking leaving MOM would give me some resolve. When that didn't work, I tried to get people to hate on the Noush, but you people are too darn nice and friendly. This game really did bring the kid out of me and I can't believe I acted like such a noushbag. A special apology to BlueMax, ParrotHead, Paul and Luna for the nonsense I pulled and to DIESEL for the misunderstanding.

The little community here is truly remarkable and one of a kind. If I were a retired ol coot or knew how to limit my playing I wouldn't leave at gunpoint but I'm afraid neither is a possibility at the moment. I just ranked to #89 and I will rest my plane there. As much as I would like to stay on the forums, it'll just make me want to play the game again--it's torture.

Thank you all, it was such a pleasure to fly with you and get to know you. I'm not sure if I can leave you forever, but my hiatus is inevitable. You folks are amazing. I wish you all the very best and hope we can fly once again in the future.

Ali, it's been a blast. We'll keep your plane gassed up. You'll be back...they (we) all try to leave but they (we) always come back. Your M.O.M tag and banner will be dry cleaned and ready when you feel like dressing up again, too. Meanwhile enjoy your time "out there" and, if you can, slip some pizza or donuts under the door now and then. Those of us still "in here" aren't all always bright enough to remember to stop flying and eat every few days.

Hey CAPT, sorry to see you go, however i have a solution, simply do what I did, i trained my wife how to do everything, feeding animals, taking care of them, cooking, cleaning, laundry, paperwork. You name and I've trained her. She is now to busy to complain or nag, actually she has nothing to nag about since its now her responsibility to do everything, if she gets behind she can simply nag herself. THAT LEAVES ME FREE TO BE ON DOGFIGHT. Ps, please do not let her see this post. Thank you.

Ok Capt. Yes I was pissed off at you. I was mad when I found out the Puppet was you. Mostly because you are one of my DF personal favorites. I don't think I'm alone there. I really like your posts and love playing the game with you. That being said, apology accepted. Trust me i have thick skin and my anger with you passed quickly. Like I said you are one of my favorites. Sometimes we need a break. That's fine. My wife says the same thing. Hell I'm sure everyone of our wife's do. There are much worse things we could be doing other than play this game. I to took a time out from this game. It was good and I came back refreshed. So take your break and come back like every one else has done and will do from time to time. Up to you of course. You have to follow your own heart and head. Yes you are a Noushbag!!!!!!

Awwww bummer! Just promise no alias if you do sneak an occasional game in, so we can say hi!

For now, youre gonna need an engine preservation, or "pickleing."

I'll help.

Step one: drain oil and replace with half mineral oil, half cosmoline. Run engine at idle for five minutes.

Step two: pull your spark plugs and spray knox rust solution liberaly on the cylinder walls. Pull the prop through by hand for four complete revolutions. Replace spark plugs with fresh dessicant plugs (do not eat.)

Step three: place as large a bag of dessicant as possible in the induction and exhaust systems.

Step four, put a sign on the prob that says "do not turn, engine preserved." And put a similar sign in the cockpit over the magneto switch.

I'll be checking your dessicant plugs monthly til you get back. Just give me an hour notice before you need to go up again and I'll have her waiting ready on the ramp for you, ok bud?

Sometimes, the bag of Noush gets depleted. Time away from the game is essential in restoring Noush to the bag. Therefore, your leave request is approved until such time as your bag of Noush is replenished and ready for action.

My wife says the same thing i spend tooo much time on the game.
I admit at first my addiction reached 200% but know ive kinda balanced my time.
U too dont c much of me but i do come in a game or so.
I have a young child too so spending time with wife & kids is important i understand but saying goodbye is tooo big of a sacrafice too lose cos i belive that i too need some lil space to myself and chatting or plying with u all is a great way of relaxing. As there r worse off ways of spending time. Family and work first then play. U must remember to relax. does not need to be long but just relax.
If u leave i will miss u too my friend. It had been great pleasure and an honor to have played with u. But please dont lose contact with us at DF.
