We will have [CAC] in front of our names, and I am encouraging new people to take on a southern name or military figure from the War to Prevent Southern Independence...We have someone named Mosby, but you could probably take a variation on that name like John Mosby, etc if you want...he was the Grey ghost, after all Anyway, we have 7+ people in the squadron or in the process of getting a second account because they wont give up their current one. One is a senior/global moderator in another popular squadron. I am sending out other PM's like this to other interested folks. If you have any interest, we are promoting the squadron as follows: be proud of being from the South, many of us have ancestors who fought in the CSA, be honorable, chivalrous, and have personal integrity in the game. We will make a declaration of principles, amongst which will include a statement condemning slavery and racism, as many progressives/liberals, and others will get their panties in a bunch just because of our name. I would extend an invitation of membership to all people who are from the south or have an affinity for the South, whether or not they are from the United States, are another race or religion, etc. Heck, it seems everyone in the US is allowed to celebrate where their ancestors came from except the Southerners. I'm one of those guys who sees the demonization of the Southern culture as illegitimate and hypocritical. If you are interested, or know someone who might be, let me know. Take care

What I am most surprised about the two account situation is while I am quite sure it's not against the rules, they set this all up in secret and are members of other squads (except Dixieconfederate)....how long until they 'borrow' that original squads secrets. I would have thought a new squad rule would be "not allowed to join another squad in another account" so I guess I am the only one who sees this as a risk. When squad wars starts who will they fight for? Interesting

Fellas, the solicitation for second accounts had nothing to do with spying. Maybe misguided in the opinion of some. It was simply a suggestion that would allow established players the opportunity to be part of something with significant meaning to some of us without... Wait for it.... Betraying there original squad. I understand the mere duality of the suggestion is seen as a betrayal by some and appreciate that. Again the motivation, as I took it when I got my covert invitation, was not intended to slight anyone.

I sincerely believe there was no malicious intent. I've stated my position on the multi-member subject. So, before you get out the pitch forks and fire up the torches make sure you've read my previous post. If you do not want somebody in your squad participating in multiple accounts/squad memberships incorporate that into your voluminous squad doctrines. Enforce it. You have as much control over that as you do any other principle in your squad.

Please stop accusing/ insinuating there's a conspiracy here. The rebels stopped all of that after #16 went down.

Know this... There are intentional spies amongst you. You should question everyone's loyalty not just those seedy looking sons of the confederacy. They're everywhere! (I'll now sit back and watch the paranoia parade). This was a joke for those slow on the uptake.

Thanks Parrot, no matter how I feel it is a game and I will always help any other dogfighter, except teamkillers...for them I hope instead of bans they just had their guns turned off and no bomb

I've seen them both ways... My point is that one guy might look at a confederate battle flag and think racist thought, where another might think darn I love magnolia trees. There is not one standard thought or belief tied to that flag.
