Luna I like you, and this thread got started when I let myself get pist about something that happens all the time, I like Bomer to, but I had hit my BS limit and popped a vessel I norm would have said anything but I wanted others to know why and what I'm doing when I drop and go after these guys... But right now I'm sure I will drop ( now that I've cooled off) but that's all this really is, but a place an way to vent.

bware please accept my apology. I'm sorry if I gave offense. If we play and I drop my bomb it was "to cover my team". If I shoot you down and make it to your base and spawn rape you endlessly it was in support of my team. Not for stats or any thing like that. Any thing to win. Right? Apology retracted. I was being sarcastic. I will lose no sleep over you and I "having a problem" I play in the evenings, on weekends, and occasionally at lunch. Problem solved.

The only game modes where you constantly have to shoot down enemies in order to win is dogfight and zeppelin games. In capture the carrier, there is no need for bombs, so you can go ahead and drop it.

But please, just be a team player in the other game modes. Use good judgement before you drop your bomb, and be considerate for both your teammates and your opponents.

I believe we, the more well-known and outstanding players of the game, have a responsibility to conduct ourselves in a way that newer players can look up to. That's the way it works in the real world, why shouldn't it work that way here?

Luna any one that has ever played with me knows I'm a team player and I hope thinks I'm a pretty good guy. The things I speak of on this thread are sarcastic remarks on the way these folks play the game. I drop my bomb only after I see the other guy doing it. I spawn kill the spawn killer. An eye for an eye. I play the game that these folks want to play. It would be nice to see them all conduct themselves in a way that newer players can look up to but that will never happen. I will not allow them to rack up kills at my expense or the expense of players that I am in a game with. I agree with you totally. It is our responsibility to set an example to other players. For the longest time I got mad when they did it. I even left a few games because of it. Now I just play the same game as they do. I feel it is my responsibility to counter this type of game play. Protect my team if you will from being brutalized and teach them that two can play that game. If all the skilled players leave every time these guys do it then who will stop them? Your words are so true but some people just don't get it. You are a good egg for sure.

Bomer as I said I like you, your a challenge, and I should not have started this thing up again, If I or We like it or not there will always be players who drop on take off or in mid-field when they get chased, are they chickens? No not really, Does it piss people off (like me) you bet ya. But they do have that right and won't stop because the majority ask them to. They have their reasons and or fears and we have ours. But I would add, Please think about this a minute, in any given game if everybody drops or if only a few drop, that games going to last a lifetime and most people can't or won't stay in that long. We've all seen players with 80 & 90+ kills and hardly any deaths, We would all like to have those numbers as well. But, did they have a bomb? we dont know,they never said. And if you did get those numbers, do you want to get them as a member of your Team? Or a Solo act? Because that's what it boils down to. Get them fare people look up to you. If you don't, they won't. It's your decision.

True, but we all have choices. Do you want to be a winner known for fair play, skill, good behavior, love of the game? Or, on the other end of the spectrum, do you want to be known as a pilot who wins as a point-mongering, bottom-feeding, cheat? (translation: spawn-killing, team-killing, no-name who ranks up as a cheat, not through skill.) It is certainly up to each of us where we want to fall on that scale...
