Hey DF community. This is my first ever thread, but long time player. I just wanted to start a thread regarding movies. I love movies. I also like to read. But watching movies is a way for me to get away from reality. Kinda like DF. Anywho, you can post any type of movie (within reason, of course, meaning no mentioning of X-rated movies) It could be any genre - drama, action, chic-flic, comedy, etc.. And it can be more than one. I'll start off.

Drama - Rudy, Casino, Goodfellas,
Comedy - National Lampoon Vacation, 40 Year Old Virgin, Old School, Caddyshack, Swingers, Waiting, Grease Lightning
Action - Heat, Saving Private Ryan, Outlaw Jose Wales, The Gauntlet
Scifi - Star Wars (all episodes, that's right I said it), Alien (the original), The Matrix Trilogy
Chic-flic - Four Weddings and a Funeral (and that's all you're getting from me)

Ok Mav... Here one for ya. One, if not my all time favorite.

True Romance- action, comedy, love story. It's got it all.

Christian Slater, Annette whatshername, Dennis Hopper, Bronson Pinchot, not Annette, I mean Patricia Arquette, Val Kilmer (as an imaginary mentor, in the form of Elvis...HA), Saul Rubinek, David Rappaport, Christopher Walken, James Gandofini (gay hit man, I mean cmon), Gary Oldman (as a mulatto drug dealer, no really), Brad Pitt, Samuel L Jackson and I don't know who else.

Freakin love the movie. It's from the early 90s maybe 92/93. If you haven't seen it, do it. Do it now!

Thriller: El secreto de sus ojos (I dont remember how exactly is the english translation, but I believe that is "The secret in your eyes" - I am lazy now, typing on cellphone, so go look for it on IMDB). Its an argentinian movie, and as a brazilian, I am ashamed but I must to recognize that they did a masterpiece. Dont miss it!

Comedy: Little Miss Sunshine. Awesome movie.

Action: none worthy of mention, sorry.

Drama: Little Miss Sunshine (I know, I know...)

Romance: same as Action...

Sci-fi: Alien (this is going to be an unanimity, huh?)

And Hitchcock movies, of course!

As I said in my previous post, go watch "The Secret in their eyes". It's the best movie I watched in the last 15 years, no doubt!!!!

Blue, my handle is in support of the Dallas Mavericks. I like Top Gun but not my favorite movie. I like your list though. Especially, Master and Commander.
