Welcome Game.

You just write a small illustrated article in Dogfight News and you will be issued a press card. Preferably it would be an article dealing with an actual game situation or something else of general interest to the players.

You may start an extra Dogfight account and sign up with a different identity.

As your in-game name you choose one of the "PHOTO/PHOTOGRAPHER/PHOTOPLANE" names on the list in page 1 (I believe) of this thread. If your preferred name is already in use, you just add a number to it: PHOTOGRAPHER2, PHOTOGRAPHER3 etc...

This system makes it official, and ensures that your identity as Gamekeeper is open and known to all who are interested, even when you fly as PHOTOGRAPHER2.

When squadron games are implemented, there will be a PRESS squad, which will then have the word PRESS above their rank symbols. All members of the PRESS squad will be low rank, and they will all fly cheap planes, but since they never carry bombs they will be able to fly fast enough to keep up with the action.

Central in this photo you see me in my photoplane as I would appear to my team mates when the PRESS squad is activated. Until then there will only be the name "PHOTOGRAPHER" to identify me. I would of course be red to those on the opposite team, but when I say that I'm "non-fighting" and "unarmed", nearly everyone will leave me alone.

Well i just posted my journalist story on dogfight news.

I cant figure out how to make another account. There is not option to sign out or anything and my regular account automatically logs in when i open the app. What do I do?

delete app re downlode app creat new account and un cheap the remember box so it will ask you for your info every time you play. Then you can long in to multiple accounts.

You have to have an extra phone, or you delete the app on your present phone. Reinstall the game and you will be asked for your name and password, or if you want to start a new account.

I am now PHOTOPLANE-3 and my first mission was a success no one fired upon me and I got a few good pics that I will post as soon as i get them on photobucket.

well i don't think i will go in as a unarmed photo plane lol. I will just take photos as i go. So if i see nazie he can eat led.

Sad to hear that, although the photoplanes are new to most users, especially those who don't visit the forum much.

I was there too, and took part for a few minutes after having come down from the roof (at 4002 ft) where I had been doing some photography.

Nazi cooperated with me though, when I said "let's remove the tank".

There was one who called himself "jb is dumb" parked at the north airport who had already bagged five spawnkills. We went at him together and only when he was destroyed Nazi turned on me and killed me.

The committee had a meeting tonight on Skydavis' application for membership in the union, and as a journalist in DOGFIGHT NEWS.
Since Skydavis was the founder of DOGFIGHT NEWS, one might think it would be difficult not to accept his application, but the committee put all such considerations aside and weighed all sides of the matter as it would have done with any other applicant. However, there was little doubt and the decision to accept Skydavis in the team was unanimous.

The committe had this to say about Skydavis' last article in DOGFIGHT NEWS: "The applicant is able to write about a serious matter in a humorous way that makes Strachans disappearance, which was due to a strange and regrettable error, perhaps easier to understand. By choosing symbols and words from fairy tales, the applicant reminds us of this unsolved problem in a brilliant manner, and puts renewed focus on the error that cost B Strachan his position at the very top of the Dogfight community. Even if the committee would have liked to see some photos to accompany the article, and in the future would recommend him to do more thorough proofreading to remove spelling and punctuation errors, we find Skydavis' imaginative way of dealing with a serious matter so well done and so interesting that we unanimously and with no doubt at all wish him welcome in the union and as a permanent member of the staff at DOGFIGHT NEWS"

There were two American pilots with the surname Davis who took part in WW1 in the French Lafayette Air Corps. Both died in action. One of them was Lieutenant Stanley Davis from Pottsville Pennsylvania, who has an airstrip at Pottsville named after him. Unfortunetely there are no photos of him available.

The other one was Philip Washburn Davis from West Newton, Massachusetts.
When we've used Philip's photo on SkyDavis' press card, it is in honour of the two Davises who gave their lives in WW1, and we hope SkyDavis also will feel honoured by our choice.

Philip W Davis was older than most of the other members of the Lafayette Escadrille, and he was looked up to by many. On June 2, 1918, while protecting an English bombing flight, he attacked six German single-seaters and was shot down in Hames within the enemy lines.
