Are there any appliance repair peeps? My washer stopped working after it fills. I open and close the door and hear a click...mild click. I find it will kick on if I press down on the door. So, the weight of my kitchen mixer applied to the center of the door is keeping it working. I'm thinking it is a worn or faulty door switch. Would i be correct???

Sounds right to me. Get Mrs. Cannon to sit on the washer and then you can have your mixer back. Mix a stiff one and resume killing reds. You'll be able to focus better because she'll be busy...

Been through a few appliance repairs. Sounds exactly like the problem. Switches are relatively easy and cheap to fix.

Here's a tip that helps with washer issues . Unless it is a broken part.

Unplug the washer for 60 seconds, plug it back in and open and close the door 12 times in 10 seconds. Sounds like a joke, but it resets the circuit board. Solves issues from over loading etc. main thing it resolves is a " no spin" problem.

If your washer is a top loaded, just pop the top of the washer off. You should see the switch right away. Just remove and install the new switch. If it's one of those $5000 front loading computerized machines.......can't help you there!⚡️

is enuff to put willies up any 1

but I always stuck it to end..carryin 2 bombs

Thanks for the answers. I especially like the idea of the Mrs sitting on the washer as that will give me time to fly. I did remove the switch and I believe it is faulty. One is on order so for now, a case of beer and the heavy mixer will have to suffice. It's rigged for the time

Saturday Night. Not a thing to do. Was going to go watch the High School Football game tonight, but it's homecoming and not in the mood to be around a thousand teenagers.
