I have also been over enemy base in a no weapons status and circled to draw thier fire so that another blue can drop ordy on target. I call it playing the game unconventionally
Some would say its camping, but if I cant do anything but absorb your rounds, it is not camping.
I have not seen a whole bunch of GI tags out here. I think they might be at some secret meeting plotting a coupe. Well reds,await... Tally -ho!
"On the flight deck, it is time for the 0915 go. All personnel., helmets on and buckled, goggles down, sleeves rolled down, check personal gear for fod. Check chocks, chains, pad eyes and catwalks. All nonessential personnel, leave the flight deck at this time. Start up huffers. Launch the starboard delta helo, spot two. LSE to spot two, plane captains man your planes, paddles to the LSO platform, now commence flight ops. All squadrons and departments make status reports to prifly and flight deck control. Now flight ops, flight ops."
OMG how did I miss this post?!? I soooo want to spend one more day hearing that message prior to the first launch of the day.... <sigh>
Thanks for your help on the FOD walkdown. Crews are manned for the 1300 launch. Case 1 launch case 3 recovery. Altimeter is 29.3. Its time for all unnecessary personnel to leave the flight deck. All others shift into the proper fight deck uniform. Helmets on and buckled, googles down sleeves rolled down. Float coats on securely fastened. Check pockets for loose gear. Stand clear of propellers and rotors, stay away from jet intakes and exhaust. Now start the go aircraft, start em up.
Heads up in the corral, spinnin' a queer! LOL
Man I miss that!
