For those of you who don't know, our squad is allied with Gunners INC. and we do things jointly from time to time. Well, it is that time again to do something jointly, its called "rent a wolf" and it goes something like this: You throw your name onto a sign up thread... (This thread to be specific). One of the GI squad leaders contacts you and you go fly with your Wolf Pack name INCLUDING {WP} and your stars where applicable for one week under the GI logo. Yes, you join one of their wings and have some fun. Squad chat, their thread, etc. Call it a mini-vacation, field trip, mutual aid, or joint forces agreement. After one week you return to Wolf Pack with your rank restored. For instance if you are a Group Captain when you leave, you return and are instantly promoted to Group Captain.

The purpose of this little endeavor is to promote and strengthen our alliance and show all of DogFight we are brothers with GI. Plus it will give those who choose to participate a chance to get to know your GI counterparts. They are truly a great squad.

I have spoken with HB and he is all for the idea, and will be presenting his squad a similar proposition to fly with the Wolf Pack for a week.

This plan should be a nice preamble to our next contest, which is in the planning stages and coming together nicely. We have some real surprises in store and I am very excited about this next endeavor.

it's an excellent idea that i will make sure to direct interested individuals toward. we have several g.i's that have achieved dual citizenship in gi and wp. i think this will be the icing on the cake so to speak.

it goes without saying that anyone transferring will be expected to behave or get the boot. that's how we do things.

any interested wolves can contact via PM a wing leader if they are interested in coming over for a week...

Viper and HB this is quite a interesting idea tbh and its that wolves will get to know Gunners who we don't see much of on WC that may stick to SQ.C only.

I would say the first step would be visit the GI thread and make them aware of your intentions. Then its simply a matter of leaving the Hunting Group you are currently in and requesting to join one of the wings of GI. They can likely point you to the correct wing.

I have had nothing but positive feedback from this program. I think you will have a blast flying with the GI's.

LOL Sending you TAD. That's funny. Hey, if you want to join GI for a week the program is still in effect as far as I know. Visit their thread and let them know you would like to fly with them for a week. Bet'cha have fun!

Of course, the per diem check is nice as well.

hi navmed thanks for taking an interest in the program! GI and WP have shared a common bond for quite a while and both squads are willing to let pilots take a test drive of the different squadron.

currently there are 3 wings of G.I that can accept you.

wing one (gunners inc.)is HB's heart throbs

wing two (gunners inc..)is KK's Krazies

wing three (gunners inc...) is Pink's people eaters

any of our wings are open for you or any member of WP to join up with for the week. i think it's just another fun option for our pilots to experience. try out all 3 if you like!

if you type "gun" into the squad search you will see the 3 wings come up.

Going Tad to GI 1 , will be back before Christmas. Dropping from WP via game request, right? is that what I do? then reverse when TAD is over? As soon as some one says yep thats the way to do it, Im on it.

I have dropped from WP for a week long TAD. I will be back next Saturday. I am waiting on approval to join GI 1. my new tag is:

You are going to have a blast with them. I am sure we can direct deposit the per diem check into your checking account as soon as you submit your travel claim and customs forms.

i think navmed may even qualify for hazard pay. we like to stay in the fight!

I bomb, run out of thirty mm, or twenty mm, and if I am homebound I will crash into some one in defense of my base or fellow blue warriors. How is that for staying I a fight?

I have also been over enemy base in a no weapons status and circled to draw thier fire so that another blue can drop ordy on target. I call it playing the game unconventionally

Thanks for your help on the FOD walkdown. Crews are manned for the 1300 launch. Case 1 launch case 3 recovery. Altimeter is 29.3. Its time for all unnecessary personnel to leave the flight deck. All others shift into the proper fight deck uniform. Helmets on and buckled, googles down sleeves rolled down. Float coats on securely fastened. Check pockets for loose gear. Stand clear of propellers and rotors, stay away from jet intakes and exhaust. Now start the go aircraft, start em up.

Ha! Sir Husky is now MORAF of the world famous Crow Hill Gang Squadron. Feel free to get all the target practice you like. Although I know Husky is WP trained and a killer in the skies. I bet you wont find him an easy target.

Hello wolf packers.
I was talking with skeeter for a while on wc and he mentioned being able to join u guys and visit for a little while. If its ok with you guys, id like to apply for the next rent a wolf drafting I got permission from both WP skeeter and GI EAGLE. Let me know what i may need to do to qualify.
