i think a few categories need adding most honorable pilot (fair and not dirty ect and best up and coming pilot say below rank 20 to encourage the newer pilots who don't make it to HOH because of plane or lack of experience im willing to help the work load if need be

Dog, we will be changing the categories each Month. We will re-run some of the most popular categories from time to time. I agree and like the idea of reaching out to the newer players. Think we have something coming up this Month. Getting ready to open the first category for May in just a few minutes.
Blue and I will be in touch, we've been talking about getting others involved.

May I suggest a "category?"
Its a "weird" one, but... I believe it worths the effort, and it may be fun to see the votes.
I suggest something like "The most unique/weird/uncommon chars" (of course, not including the bad behavior guys).

To make myself clear and to illustrate what I mean:

I vote for Pluribus, Bubi (heck, he is not a bad guy, I insist) and Desert Rose.

-> Plur, for his well known "mumble-jumble-I-am-going-to-sit-and-watch-this-freaking-game-till-it-ends" play stile. And for his weird sense of humor.

-> Bubi, for being the most hated among the good/honored players around. I insist: yes, he plays fair. He is not a cheater.

-> And Desert Rose because, well, although I dont see her around anymore, at the time she played, she scared me to my bones. She doesnt talk, she cant understand what other players write, she just kills you. Relentless. Even after the game ends.

We'll have to give that some thought Pedrinho!

The 5 will get us through May, then I think we're going to drop down to 4 a month, and the
FIRST BEST OF THE BEST STARTS IN JUNE!!
Can't wait for that one! All of you will have the Honor of picking the first 4 Best Pilots in Dogfight, past or present.
There will also be a special Honor bestowed on a Former Dogfight Pilot.

Hahaha! Think we'll save that one for later, I might have an unfair advantage. Wouldn't want to start a voting controversy!

A good point was raised and perhaps we should have made things a little more clear.
We add the Month and Year to the categories to show when the nominees were inducted into the Hall of Honor.
It is not simply "best of ____ for that Month.
For instance the Best Head on Fighter category was ran in April 2015.
It is a category that will re-appear in the future. So the next instance of that category may be June 2016.

We have a huge range of categories to present and ideas for more keep rolling in.
Again the dates merely show when that Category's top ten were inducted.

The next Category is Open for Voting.
BEST NEW PILOT LEVEL 20 AND UNDER
take an extra minute, think about that new name that shot you down. Or the new Pilot you shot down 50 times but they still got back up and came after you! Take a minute to say, " Hey you got what it takes you should be in our squad!"
A little tougher category, but all in, one we, and others feel is worth presenting!

Under lvl 20 will be tough to pick. I honestly don't know a lot of under lvl 20 players.

If it was under lvl 31 my list would be long.

Good point Disrupt, actually a couple others have brought this up.
Reconsidering the level requirements.

Once again we listened to your opinions! We have switched out categories. We have changed the Best New Pilot under level 20 to:
Best Rifle Shooter Chute or Ground.

We will do a little research and re-introduce the new Pilot category after we are able to provide a way to make selections easier.
IN THE MEAN TIME, keep watching the new guys, the category will be returning soon!

Ok we need your help! Looking for someone who flew with or knew Duckwing1. Most of us know the story, and we have something special planned. BUT, we need a little more help with the facts. Anyone who has a Mountain in the game named after them surely deserves a special distinction here! Feel free to post or PM me if you can help!
