And, just did some tests, it seems the aiming point for the Nieuport is still the same, however at close range you need to aim straight at the plane, like in DF1

Oh yes! I was wondering when Ace Girl would post one of her arts here. Now this looks like a proper squadron thread . Saludos Jess .

The aiming hasn't changed between versions. It is still the same.
The only place where is different is if you play in VR since I actually align the guns to the shooting. For things that are not VR, things are as always for shooting.

Just played a good match yesterday. At a certain part we could only defend our base from the reds, they were coming from all directions all time. Those guys made us sweat!



It's spectacular the ability of a single jet to end a great game in less than 2 mins lol.

I dont know if this increases are a bug or only the new quantity . O0

I played a match and tested this hit detection thing. Couldn’t do it on a plane, but it does happen on tanks as well, so here it is -

• I spot a tank behind a tree, there’s 284 bullets in my gun and I haven’t hit him once

• I land ONE hit on him, so now 283 rounds, so no way I could get 2 hits - but the counter shows I hit twice.

I have two theories to explain this
- The counter is glitched and it shows 2 hits when one actually hits
Or
- Durability of the plane/tank is doubled, but the bullet damage is also doubled; I mean if the plane now has 8 HP, the bullet subtracts 2 HP per hit so only 4 hits needed.
 

Today I managed to break my old kill record thanks to my loyal SPAD! Still not 100 but yet a great number!





Most people got 50+ scores as well yihaaaaaaaaaaa.
 

Thanks to the new ranking system, Juan and I are there! Now we're 4 SPADs, let's hope we can increase that number!

Hey all, snow is back!



Nevermind that the cockpit camera glitch has been fixed, the white scenario just looks incredible (and perfect for Christmas...)! 



The allied airfield looks much more exotic with the snow at the end of the runway!

The icy parts are amazing!

As you can see, it's so white that it makes my planes look darker... And this has an unexpected consequence:

Where am I aiming to??? Yeah, unless you use the 'Old Crosshair', I recommend you to change its color to black or very pure colors such as orange or pink. [EDIT] With these new updates, the crosshair should change its color to black if it is snowy, BUT ONLY IF YOU HAVE THE DEFAULT WHITE. Any other color won't be affected by this. 



In addition, player's names are shown in a different way: the squad can be seen above it again, and at the left is shown the player's rank. 

Yeah, such a cool (old?) feature! 

Hello again! I know this squad is a bit dead now since many of our top players left, and those who play don't do it as much as before. Still, I wanted to share with you the new Jolly Roger! It's a wholly new building, painted in white, and the most important thing, you can enter inside it! Inside, you can hear background music, and there are some disco lights. Outside, you'll hear the seagulls, and there's a rocking chair (you can't sit on it though). The water mill is still there.

Hey, we are back to posting here! Some minor updates have been uploaded lately, I'll do a brief resume of all new stuff. 

1: The skybox is slightly different, now clouds look a bit more smooth.



Also this made the rain slightly different, now it seems that there is some kind of fog that doesn't let you see the clouds. 



2: Lancaster mission has changed! Now you spawn on the ground, and allies who join the game will appear inside of you, handling the guns. Also you can see your health bar above the plane. 



3: Now lake can be frozen! If there is snow at the scenario, you may see ice instead of the regular lakes. 



You can walk (and land) over it! 



But don't worry, you can still see a snowy scenario with the regular lakes in which you can swim. 



However, nobody is perfect, and this update came with some glitches. Some textures are missing (Razor's glass and train's wheels, that's all I could find). 





Hopefully Zup will fix this... See you in the skies and happy Holy Week!

Some absurdly hilarious moments while playing as our newest recruitment's gunner (esaupictures). He asked for some backup and he got it!





It's so chaotically fun to be the gunner in an enemy plane .

LOL yesss its crazy FUN Paco!  Zuperman se la comió con eso.  When I see someone in one of those planes in game i always ask for a lift. (el aventón o coger pon) 

Hi guys! I know this squad hasn't been very active lately and it's hard to see me or Paco playing the game, but hey, we've just hit the million mark!



I want to thank everyone who has helped this squad to grow and to be among the big ones, especially now, as it's hard to be in a squadron whose leaders don't play often.

Let's go for the 2nd million! It will only take another year LMAO. 

Dunno if actually anybody cares, but hey, I finally scored my 20,000th kill! I don't feel very proud of it as it was Lowdan's soldier, but come on...



Yeah, Pfalz squad, nevermind... Joy was so intense that I almost jumped to the moon!



And here go some random memories:


-The first glitch I discovered.


-My first landing on a bomber (it's much harder nowadays!).


-My first kill with the soldier.


-The first (and only) time that I managed to reach the base in a tank and destroy all hangars.


-My first game in my beloved Fokker D.VII.


-My first kill with the tank (even though it didn't count to my stats).

I want to thank everyone who helped me to reach this goal, especially the [Ñ] community. Me lo habéis enseñado casi todo, sois los mejores, de verdad. Es una verdadera lástima que queden tan pocos jugadores de un escuadrón tan histórico y el que cuando yo entré era tercero en puntos. ¡Espero que [Ñ] vuelva con más fuerza que nunca y le enseñe a todo el mundo qué es volar con honor y no rendirse jamás!
