The squad is not as big or active as it used to be. Since the update that added the "old" feature, most of us can't use their noob planes and many good members and friends stopped playing the game (or completely vanished). Some of us can be still seen around, fighting for victory, but it's not the same anymore.

Hello, and welcome to the SPAD SQUAD official thread! We are a new squadron created on February 23, 2020, and we are always recruiting new members! Normally we use the invitation system, but we also accept requests. In this squadron you will find very good pilots who can be considered as 'young talents' because of their low rank (nearly no one in this squadron is over rank 30 currently) and their flying skills.
Why is the squad called like that? This was going to be a tribute to all those 'little killers' who can be found in WW1 rooms, and who sadly leave the game in most cases. Little killers usually aren't subscribed and can't buy premium aircraft, so their main planes are the SPAD XIII and the Pfalz D.III. Because most premiums like Germany, their regular plane is the allied, in this case the SPAD. I was one of them, and that plane made me an ace (believe me, it's a good plane, I've brought down lots of jets with it).
We don't have a true military structure: there is a MORAF, a co-MORAF who helps the boss, and the rest of pilots. The only functions of the MORAFs are recruiting new members and kicking those who don't play or do something illegal.
This squadron is only for active players, so if you are going to stay without playing for a while, please connect at least once per week to make us know you are still there and didn't left the game. You don't even have to enter in a match, just by opening the game and entering multiplayer your last seen date will be set as "Today".
Remember that this is YOUR squadron, so feel free to post here. Our thread is also open for people who aren't in our little group.

RULES:
1. The basics: no swearing, no teamkilling, no spawnkilling... to stay in the game without being banned.
2. RESPECT the noobs, help them when they ask for info if you can. The SPAD SQUAD is like a school squad, SO THIS IS NON NEGOTIABLE.
3. Sneaking is allowed, but don't do it if your team is much bigger than the other.
4. We carry our bombs in bombing missions, however you can drop them if you need to defend your base or to deal with droppers or jets (when you finish, reload again).
5. Unnecessary spawnkilling is not allowed. The only kind of spawnkill we will allow is the "bomb/flag run exception" (you are approaching the base/carrier, and you want to bomb, so you shoot at the parked planes to make them stay and let you bomb, same can apply for flag games). When you finish, you can crash or go back to the base, but don't camp (however, if a red starts shooting at your six while leaving, you can kill it to watch your back). DON'T bomb aircrafts that are parked on the runway, that's unnecessary (they can't kill you).
6. It's OK if you want to avoid someone's head on attack, but if his plane is worse than yours, don't shoot him at the back or turnfight, because he has no chance of defending.
7. Shoooting your squadron mates is allowed.
8. Bully jet tactics aren't allowed here (unless you are hunting another jet). YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN WITH "JET" AND "BULLY TACTICS".
Not all infractions have the same gravity. Most of the times we will try to talk with the infractor, however, sometimes the only solution is an immediate expulsion (don't worry, we've kicked only three guys because of insulting, compulsive spawnkilling, etc).
ETHICS:
Ethics aren't like rules, you don't have to follow them. However, if you want to be a true SPAD Squader, you'll have to follow some.
1. Fly ALL your planes, not only the best you have, to show the enemy that you don't need a jet to beat them.
2. If you aren't going to shoot a squadron mate in a dogfight match, go far of his position, don't bully anyone. JET EXCEPTION: You are allowed to provide cover to other WW1 aircrafts if a jet or something like that is bullying them.
3. Cover your teammates, especially the ones with the worse aircrafts.
