This reminds me of a time when I was younger, had a full head of hair and a chiseled 6 pack. Oh yes, I had just bought a brand new Mustang with years of long hard summer work. Of course I needed a cool license plate, and being that I was taking a class in aeronautical engineering, I had to go with something cool like MACH1. To my dismay it was already taken, as well as MACH2, MACH3 all the way to MACH9 but not 10 so I immediately grabbed MACH10. I thought to myself "fools" how come no one grabbed MACH10? Well, turned out I was the fool as MACH10 also spelled MACHIO...as in Ralph Machio...as in Karate Kid. I got lots of funny stares, impromptu swan kick impressions and random "daniel son" quotes. I'm still trying to "wax off" that memory.

I knew a guy who had LEW15.He was approached by the boxer Lenox Lewis and offered him£70k.This was 15 year back he wouldnt sell the plate.

Here's mine...also just on my garage wall. I think when your plate is known by all police in your area it's a good idea to retire it I got in an accident (not my fault for the record) and every cop that showed up said, "Velocity eh? We've been looking for you..." and since I drive often over 200 km/h I could understand I suppose but it took all I have not to snap back with,
"Well you're certainly no detective, I live at the address on my licence!" Oh sorry guys I didn't notice it was on your section....YIKES I will have it removed

Oddly enough it's often misunderstood here. Being in the South (US), I've had several folks assume it was perty (Southernese for "Pretty") Head. Others have asked if it is PartyHead. But to make it all worthwhile I'd have the occasional guy ride by with his hand on his heard (like a shark fin) which is a universal non-verbal salutation for parrotheads everywhere.

Friend had just gotten his driving license and put all his hard earned cash on old car. Once he registered it he got plates HUU-551. In English huussi means outhouse/crapper.
