Manfred... Any thoughts on what will restore vision? I'm not sure what kind of drink we could make with carrot juice. Maybe just give poor Bell carrot juice.

Hey Jacklpe I'll send you a gallon of Va White Lighting ,just add a little carrot juice for color. Let Bell drink about a pint or so ,he won't get high,drunk maybe,for this stuff skips high and when it kicks Bell won't care about his eyesight for a couple days.Hope you have a spare cot in the back he will probably need it.

Vision improvement? One of the things they taught me in barkeep school is that alcohol is supposed to dull your vision. But never mind. Yes, carrot juice is just the thing. Have you ever had Guinness with carrot juice? It takes a belly, but bells I think you have a strong gut. Guinness, fresh carrot juice, sweetened condensed milk, lime. Some folks add an egg, but I don't.

Let me know if your vision is still blurry, and we can increase the font size on the menu.

That's a gorgeous view Manfred. I've never made it to the Pacific yet. It's becoming more and more of a thing for my to do list. The west coast gives trucks a hard time, so I have no intention of heading that way for work, although this new one is CA emissions ok. My trailer isn't though, and I will not be retrofitting. I really want to take a trip out there just for fun one of these days though.

The view was terrific, but the reason we turned around so soon was that once past the point, the swells were going up... and down... and up... uuuggghh.

I tried over and over to get back into that game with you guys.it would have been a memorable moment with you all there aswell as on the stroke of midnight here in the uk and i hit the big 40.

Muck, that was incredibly nice of you. Thank you for that. It's pretty cool to hear what was a brief crackle of electricity in my mind for a moment being called an integral part of the game. It's funny how the best things just sometimes work out. I like it simply because its a place for everyone to meet and chat without feeling like they are intruding in another squads area. I still from time to time post on the different squads, but I always feel like I had better be brief. Here, you can just go with it. I like that, and it's the atmosphere I hope to maintain. Plus, I don't allow feelings here (except for stuff like births, deaths, marriage, divorce or whatever. The things that really matter....).

"Hiring" Manfred was a great move too. He brings a very unique perspective to the thread, and it's really improved the place. One of these days he's going to realize that he can discuss chicken farming or whatever else right here... But if a separate thread works better, that's ok too.

Alright then, we'll see what Mr Z wants to do. Hopefully if we go that mainstream, I can keep up. I'm a lot more comfy being a back alley place, but we'll see where this all goes. It may be fun.

Hey Manfred set me up with a drink anything will do. I'm going to need something to help me think and stay calm. I get to go tear my shotgun apart to night. Ahh some much to do before duck season so little time lol o and if jasonmc or unbeatable or dinospider come in set them up with a drink from me. Anything they like they played one heck of a game earlier and kinda got robbed at the end.

Of course! Green Flash is right by my old office north of San Diego. I haven't tried a lot of IPAs, kind of have to be in a particular mood for them. Anyway folks Who Know seem to like it around here.
