Quackers, it's based on your total cumulative points that you've earned since playing. He with the most points is ranked higher. All of the stats listed are just some of the ways that you earned those points. Until recently, you could also lose points if you were shot down or crashed. So, theoretically you could more totals in the stats than somebody ranked higer than you.

Hope this makes sense. If not, let me know and I'll give it another shot.

And... I hope you're not sore about the game earlier. You'll be kicking everyone's but before long. Some real talent is shining through.

Sure is quiet around here for Friday night.

Jacob, I have to agree with Quackers, that's a bit disturbing. It's like the next evolutionary step for the platypus.

Jason, I wouldn't worry about that old scattergun of Manny's. since he put his stripes on, he's been too busy lookin over his shoulder for pointsmongers that he couldn't hit the floor he fell down.

One last thing... Has anyone seen Pixie around? Tell her "Hi" for me if ya see her.

I know its a little off topic, but I also know there's some gardeners in here. Planning the plantings for the spring. When should I plant my Dahlias?

Double check with your garden supply store, but I think in your area it's early April.

Mr Hybrid Platypus ParrotHead,

I'm guessing they're new tubers you have and not preplanted? Or Plugplants?

Like Mr Mantz said, get advice from your local gardener as I cannot predict our weather let alone yours but the biggest thing is to make sure they're not at risk of frost or frozen soil. Store them in a cool, dark and dry spot until the cold passes, then you can place them ON a pot of soil and await the first shoots, when they shoot/root, plant them out.

Tubers can die over winter and if they pick up any bacteria from their storage location, it can spread to the others and all could be lost, becareful young parrot.....out of curiosity, feel free to share your planned beauties......ill show you mine if you show me yours...

Maybe one of you brave souls can start a 'flower' thread? Oh sod it, I will....

Funny how real life intervenes. This is a tough week here, but nothing too wacky so we'll direct the Correctional Energies your way.

Or, some Fast Pitch Darts can be a real stress reliever, just don't grip the dart shaft too tight or you may follow through into the top of your shoe. Not that I've ever done that.

Good luck Manfred. I hope everything comes out well.

Thanks for coming in Jason. I know I've been a bit quiet lately. I just bought a new(er) truck today. Sadly, it cost more than 3/4 of the worlds population's house.

But, that's the business I'm in, and I've got work to do, so if I want to have a house, food, and what not then tough choices sometimes have to be made.

Anyway, I think I'll get wasted on my own stock. Someone just cover me up when I pass out.

Thanks guys. It just occurred to me that although I've been fasting all day except for eating phospho-soda (yucko), I can eat and drink all I want in our little virtual habitat. I will serve me up some greasy grub and a nice tall frothy glass of cold brew. Mmmm, fried chicken and fries! This is better than I eat in real life.

Brand new is the worst, but I just signed on the dotted line for 70K today. That's enough... It's supposed to get better mileage than mine though, and that's very significant. So much so that it could actually absorb the added cost and actually end up putting $$ back in my pocket. I hope that's the case anyway.

Here's a picture of the new ride. I prefer the long nose Peterbilts, but with $4/gal fuel, it's just not practical. Hopefully this is the next best thing.
