Mr
Hybrid Platypus ParrotHead,
I'm guessing they're new tubers you have and not preplanted? Or Plugplants?
Like Mr Mantz said, get advice from your local gardener as I cannot predict our weather let alone yours but the biggest thing is to make sure they're not at risk of frost or frozen soil. Store them in a cool, dark and dry spot until the cold passes, then you can place them ON a pot of soil and await the first shoots, when they shoot/root, plant them out.
Tubers can die over winter and if they pick up any bacteria from their storage location, it can spread to the others and all could be lost, becareful young parrot.....out of curiosity, feel free to share your planned beauties......ill show you mine if you show me yours...
Maybe one of you brave souls can start a 'flower' thread? Oh sod it, I will....
