Garbo Squadron

This "squad" is for all the unaffiliated solo pilots out there, who never understood the squad thing, or never saw a reason to join one. It's for anyone who's ever joined then left a squad. It's for all the high-ranking aces and squad personalities who eventually feel the need to fly incognito on different accounts; or who change their in-game names, just to fly free and easy for a bit without all the expectations -- to step outside whatever box they feel their fame and notoriety (real or imagined ) has put them in; or just to fly for a bit as an unknown noob and relive that struggle and glory. And it's for anyone who's ever thought, "I just want to be let alone..." even if only for a little while.

Garbo Squadron has no official roster. No rules except one: respect for privacy, no questions asked, is expected. Other than that, there are no admission requirements. No leaders, officers, or hierarchy of any sort. No tags, logos or banners. There is no need for any formal mechanism to join or leave. If you are in a squad already, you do not have to leave it to "join" Garbo Squadron.

Why? Because Garbo Squadron membership is not a status but a state of mind. When you are in that state, you are in Garbo Squadron. Welcome! Make yourself at home. Come and go as you please.

Henceforth, whenever someone asks you in game to join a squad, or asks you what squad you've been in, how long you've been playing, or if you've ever flown under another name or account -- and you don't feel like answering (for whatever reason) then just say, "I'm in Garbo Squadron." We'll know what you mean. And if you are waiting for actual squad wars before deciding to join an actual squad, while you wait you can just respond, "I'm in Garbo Squadron," to all recruiting efforts. We'll know what you mean.

At the moment Air Commodore (13), when I am in Garbo Squadron. But I don't fly as Garbo.
