I've hit new version updated game sends me back to playstore says play hit play says I need new version if it's not one thing it's another and you wonder why I don't subscribe

Did you try uninstall and reinstall ?

Yeah, I've been hitting the same loop. Do as Donna suggests.
Recently you seem to need to uninstall old version first.

I, also cannot play.  I unistalled and reinstalled, and searched for the new update....just keeps cycleling through the options...require more assistance...many thanks

hey, i posted on world chat recently explaining. Google is having some issues and updates got delayed. This only happened once before, they usually approve updates in 30 minutes. So far it's been almost 2 days.

I have no power over Google and I can't roll back to the previous version because every other platform already got the update. Apologies to everyone. I have no idea when they will solve their internal delay, it can be any time or days, no way for me to know.

Meanwhile, if you have any other platform, you can play from there: Amazon, Apple, PC, Steam, Windows, Mac... it's only Google Play the one still pending review.

Yeah, here is a screenshot.
I sent the same version today, hoping that maybe something was stuck in their system and it would unstuck. But nope... both still in review. No idea what's going on internally at Google system. Once they review it, both will be approved (they are the same version, so any would be good).
 

With Windows Store, I had to uninstall the old version and it works !

Tried again today still won't load update uninstalled and reinstalled still no dogfight elite.this is 3rd day going on 

Google just fixed the glitch 20 minutes ago! You should be able to see it now.
