I'm still finding that the flight controls get a new centering sometimes. Latest case is in Bomb Airport, I was on the Allied side flying a Nieuport 17. I became a tank, shot hangars, got killed by a bomb, and then when I respawned, the controls center was very "upright" to fly level. But when I quit and opened the controls screen, they were just as I had left them before. I saved & reentered, and all was fine.

Htc g2, latest dogfight release that fixed submerged wheels problem.

well,it calibrates at the begining of the game,also after you spawn after being a tank.

Same thing with ipad2 bomb carrier mission and nieuport. I seem to lose calibration sporadically when I crash or get killed sometimes it comes back in same game?

I'm fairly certain it re-calibrates when you respawn. You just need to watch how you're holding it when you spawn.

I had no idea that it recals upon spawn! Is there some indication on the screen when it does this? I had thought the only calibration was when I forced it to do it in the Controls menu. Ok, I'll be careful to hold my desired neutral position at respawn!

Yeah man! I don't believe there is, so right before you hit respawn, make sure to place your device into the proper or comfortable position.

Been watching device location on respawn and it's not making a difference. Seems to be lower after each spawn. Please don't say not to get shot down I'm trying not to lol.

When I get shot in tank going full speed straight my tank stops and the rear comes off the ground for a second or so..when I respawn I have to hold iPad over my head for level. Is it possible the pad recalibrates during this time a that's why holding pad straight might not matter?

Yeah, you have to hold it straight mate.

I'm holding it straight. The tank stays tilted down for a spell. If the tank is tilted down and I'm straight wouldn't that be the same as tank straight and iPad tilted back? I don't know if tank orientation factors in with calibration but this might be it. It's no fun flying with iPad over my head just to stay in air.
Also to fix I have to close game completely and then recalibrate, if I just close mission and recal it doesn't work

Well, I just avoid the tank altogether. Unless I'm in the mood to play a little bullet dodge.

I like to turn into a tank when I get shot down by an enemy tank! tank battles now and again are fun! They also figure in strategically in bomb the base missions.
