A fix or suggestions would be welcome.

which version is that? 4.3.5 ?

I downloaded my version (on the instruction of Dogfight) on or about 15 December, so I guess it's 4.3.5. I now see there is an update, but I am having trouble downloading from App Store direct to my Touch, so I'll have to try using iTunes. I will let you know the result.

I have a feeling it may be because your OS is too old. 3.1.3... most likely it's not supported since tons of stuff is already forced to at least 4.0

No way for you to upgrade the iOS?

Unfortunately I can't upgrade - it's a 1G iPod Touch.

then you are in trouble... i mean, i didn't change anything on my side that would force you to require 4.0 but Apple probably has after the release of 5.0

The only hope is that it allows it to run on 3.1.3 on next updates...
