After the latest update ( 2 days ago?) i can not select aircraft...app hangs

try removing the app, and resintalling it

Did that...had to start all over...hangs in the same place!

Can't get past picking plane, so app is useless and I can't play level 4. is this the only place for help on this app? Is there a help desk? Or am O just out the $$...? ipad running 6.1.3

I'd suggest reading the forum a bit before posting (at least posting multiple messages). That's what I was hoping you'd do before I replied here.

There's another complaint about practice level 4, so I suspect a bug is in play. If memory serves, there was a reply to the other poster that he might skip the rest of the practice levels for the moment and dive into multiplayer. I think that's a good suggestion for you too, if you feel comfortable flying, maneuvering, and evading.

If you happen to spawn into a multiplayer game that is the midst of a huge fire fight over your base, you can quit the game, wait a few minutes, and try spawning again. Hopefully you'll find a slower paced game. Well, others would argue that jumping into the midst of a firing frenzy is the best thing for learning, and I sort of agree... nothing like baptism by fire! But if you don't even see who killed you, sometimes the specific learning is tough to ascertain, IMO.

As for a fix, the developer (aka Zuperman, Zup, Z, Joaquin, and The Man With Many Things To Do But Not Enough Time In A Day) is in the midst of a server migration that requires a bunch of re-writing from scratch. You posted in the right place, and he's seen it. You might reply with your device type, and Dogfight release version # (About menu in the game).

Thank you Manfred. I was enjoying the game so far and I guess I was a bit impatient when the only response was, delete and try re-installing. Having worked the IT Helpdesk for (what was) a major worldwide company, I was expecting a more sophisticated response. Silly me... I forgot where I was. YOUR response was very helpful. Having my wings clipped (by you), I think I will wait for the update before I jump into game play thank you...LOL

Sorry, I didn't mean to clip the wings. I guess impatience runs both ways! I'm especially frustrated these days because I own a phone that has trouble keeping the game running, and it's the phone's game controller s/w that's the issue so it's not like Zup can recode anything there. (Samsung Galaxy S3, not an unpopular phone!)

Hey you mentioned the forum profile. The forum is having its own migration issues (Tools under reconstruction by Zup), but the profile page seems to be accessible by some browsers but not others. I can't see some profile items using Firefox (PC), but Internet Explorer (PC) seems fine. On my android phone, Dolphin browser sees the profile page fine. Anyway, painful, but there are some possibilities.
