Hello, I always play while connected thru 3G with no problem, once I connect with wifi (dsl) I get the error message connection lost. Looks like the server rejects me the first second I connect to the game. Does anybody have the same issue and knows a quick fix? Thanks in advance

Huh, that's very odd. Usually it's vice-versa with people having problems with the 3G.

Try resetting your router by unplugging it for about a minute. Then plug it a back in and try reconnecting.

It could also be your security as most WIFI devices only play multiplayer with WEP or WPA security measures. So yeah, try tweaking those a bit.

I had to change my internet connection so that the upload speed was much better. Solved the problem. (now have 20 to 30mbs both ways)

Try SpeedTest (www.speedtest.net/) on the connection and see what your upload speeds are - mine were 250kbs and less - the download was around 3mbs

It will also show you a graph on 'quality' (they don't call it that) a plot of the connection speed that can go up and down radically during the test even though the measured speed appears OK.

Android has an app for it, the link above is for a desktop, I assume they have an app for Apple iPod/iPad too.

Doesn't fix your issue but lets you known the possible culprit.
Try it on both the 3G and the DSL connection.

thank you guys for your answers, tried it all not working with DSL, i connected with Both DSL and 3g and got kicked out 2 secondes after conecting,I have a decent conenction I have been experiencing this problem with Dogfight game only and it had been going on for more than a year.
I m sure the Server is kicking me out, probably dont like my IP need to have somebody check the server when i connect I m not Zuperman would be able to assist with that.
anyway thanks guys for your suggestions unfortunately none have worked will be trying what you guys trow at me

No, slendy, it's not odd. I've done this before once or twice out f curiously at my grandparents' house and they have wifi. I have my iPhone 3GS and I play dogfight fine. So one day at my grandparents I turned on the wifi and that same error popped up. It's not odd it's probably because of you're playing this game on a phone (smartphone) you already have built in wifi. So, if you turn on another wifi tht you use say what I did at my grandparents, the device and the app (dogfights) will get all confused because its already playable with the built in wifi.


So person who started this topic, sorry I'm typing this and I forgot your name, just don't use the dcl wifi you explained. If your playing this game on a smartphone, you don't need to use wifi from any other place because smartphones have built in wifi.

Hey jets doesn't seem to be the root cause, it's probably the game server blocking my ip, I wish somebody can help check that out for me.
3 g is very busy lately and cause lag, I used to play for month on this same dsl with no problem I don't understand what happened but it's been a year I couldn't connect using wifi to play dogfight, everything else works fine except this game

M not a techy so I don't give the best of answers. But are you playing this game on a smartphone?

Playin it on iPad, g3 sucks in my country, it's been 2 months it's not stable, wifi is my only option, I even deactivated the firewall and is still have the same issue, it's like the server is kicking me out 2 seconds after the game starts

Unless you've been seriously misbehaving, I doubt you were IP banned. I'm tired right now, and my brain isn't remembering things right. How do you check your connection again?

If your IP was banned, it wouldn't even let you join a game, so that's not it. Contact Joaquin (Zuperman) and Virginia (Viggi). They're the two public administrators. They could help you out, I hope.

Can't get their attention, too bad I really liked that game I even made it to the top 100 it's a shame they don't support their faithful players

I have mine set to use WiFi ONLY....I found for my phones that when going via 3 or G (Data Service T-Moblie Verizon etc) Fight for control over which gets used....try setting it to WiFi only...Might help
