2. You don't get auto banned for spawnkilling.

5. Why were you driving tank to your own base to get back into plane? Why not auto-destroy?
6.Where does this "airstrip" come into play? You can only tank near your own, so it's obviously intentional.
7. Sounds to me like you were teamkilling yourbown planes on takeoff from tank at your base.

if I teamkilled it would have been by accident. If I hit someone on my team I always message "sry". It happens to me a lot and I have no issue as long as my teammate indicates the error. Its a game not real life.

If so tankspwankilling is a bannebal offence and if it was a mod who saw you or the one that got killed by you, I expect that you got banned right away.

You don't get banned for ONE (1) teamkill. You get banned for THREE (3) teamkills.
How is that an accident?

Like I said--we know this game. We've been playing much longer than you--which means we've heard it all before.

My guess is that the following happened. Maybe it was in Bomb Base and not Dogfight (aka Free For All) mission? And you got shot down near your own base? If that's the case, the plane you say you accidentally blew up with your tank would have been a friendly. In which case, the game would say You Are A Traitor, Banned for 5 Minutes or something like that. No moderator needed, auto-ban

I'm not sure if the developer changed any of those auto ban rules recently or not, as he WAS changing some of the team-kill functions at this forum's request. Maybe he changed it to permanent-ban, who knows. Oh, any chance you hit a hangar too? Those things are big now, and maybe your plane shot also caused a hangar to go down. That would explain a lot.

Anyway, first thing's first, a moderator would need to know your exact in-game name, so they could find you in their player control panel. I can tell that "doggfight" is not your in-game name. Please post it here for them. From there, as you have been told, a little humility goes a long way, instead of demands. It's educational to read the blacklist thread back a few months to see what others have done. You are trying to convince someone that a mistake was made, and that it won't happen again. Coming in with attitude won't achieve your goal, guaranteed.

...... just trying to navigate to that to report my case. didnt know it was an open form. I was told to go to blacklist and report my case which I did. I thought it was a closed form and did not relize I would have everone and their dead uncle give me their unasked for comments

1- I did not issue this ban
2- I have not seen any conversation regarding this ban on the Mod's private thread. So I think it was Auto ban
3- Just because Auto ban does not ban for spawn killing does not mean that it is not a bannable offense. All game ruining is bannable.

If I had all the time in the world...it'd end up spent following this and various and sundry other threads.

I recall the earlier issues involving HELLS HAND MAIDEN as recounted here by Manfred. I recalled them the moment he pulled up, took aim, and tanked me on the strip in a FFA mission. I was still recalling him when I said, "Tanking a Mod in a free for all. Terrible idea, chief." I gave him plenty of time to respond, then repaid his tank shell with a temporary ban.

Doggfight or HELLS, if you missed my text and you were under the impression that you'd done nothing offensive...you still didn't apologize, standard operating procedure in Dogfight and something you've been around more than long enough to know. "Damn. Sorry wig, my finger slipped." S'all you needed to say. Other players in that mission were complaining of a spawn-killer which may well not have been you. If that was the case, the timing, from your perspective, sucked. All the more reason to say something, if you'd just respawned from the tank you had nothing but time.

I've just unbanned you. Go forth and spawnkill no more. (and sorry if you were truly innocent...next time say so, quick. We Mods have "Ban Tanker in FFA" on speed dial.)
