Tank1983 Topic Author Offline New Member Posts: 1 Thank you received: 0	Dear all - I'm having a lot of trouble getting past training mission three. I have found that if the DR-1 gets behind me, I don't seem to have the speed or maneuverability to get in position to shoot it down. If I just to try to avoid it and attack the air base, either it or the tanks get me before I can do any real damage. Any suggestions? Jamin

Its more fun than the training and it will actuly train you to win the training missions. If you need nyhelp just ask a ace in game and they will help you with dogfight bombing anything you want to learn they will give you tips and sorta train you.

A sopwith can outfight an SE5A. Dont back down. Fire at long range, use short, slow strokes. See you in the skies!

I not Practice head on because I'm good at it so I try to kill my enemies in a head on. If they get me in a dogfight I'm screwed -Qaz ~=111TH FALCON SQUADRON FOUNDER =~ Player since Dec. 30th 2010. But just go to multiplayer and u will know that atuff automatically. Practice missions are boring. blackeagles69.webs.com/

The trick is to not turn around to try to go after the attacking planes, but to just fly past them and let them pass you.

The practise-game enemy planes won't turn unless you do. Watch your white triangle on the map. When the enemy is at least one triangle-width away, turn, get him in your sight and shoot.

The practise games have been modified somewhat during the last two upgrades. Those who haven't visited them for some time are advised to do so.
