I discovered today that you can bomb and blowup the bridge over the water. I hadn't realised you can do that. Its been done brilliantly. Sections of the bridge drop into the water and you can see the exposed reinforcing bar. Great job! If you haven't tried you should. Its great.

I noticed though that when I returned after getting more bombs the damage I had done previously had been repaired. I would like to request the possibility of keeping the damage done throughout the game. Could I also suggest tat a few points are awarded for the destruction. It would provide a nice little in game bonus!

It would be great if you could apply the same approach to the little house with the water wheel as well as the building at the end of the bridge.

Many thanks.

This has possibilities as a new type of game, one that wouldn't take too much extra coding to setup.
"Defend the bridge, so the other side can't destroy x sections quicker than your (imaginary) engineers can rebuild it."
.
I can imagine some interesting team tactics being called.

That was the idea when I did the bomb the bridge. It was a type of mission that had a train passing the terrain and it had to go through that bridge. People would need to bomb it or protect it.

There are posts here with images of that train. The mission type lasted a week because many devices ran super slow with the rail system and the train, so it was removed but the destructible bridge stayed.

Don't need the train, attacking and defending the bridge would be different enough mission.
As I said before, if you had to hit x sections over a limited time, there's a lot of team tactics involved.
(I'd be calling for a 4 gannet dive bomb from great height.:P )

You mean like "rearranging the deck chairs..."?
You're quite right.
Of course the collision wouldn't have happened if the deck chairs had been put in the right places in the beginning.
Then Captain Smooth would have been able to see the iceberg coming while he was sipping his gin and tonic and chatting up Mrs Ramsbottom.
