How about more animations for the pilot while outside for the plane? If you are going to ad an out-of-plane mode, you might as well add some buttons that do stuff like making the character model dance, or sit, or something like that. That would be fun. I could go to cool places and start dancing, maybe even have others join in. That would make for a fun afternoon.

But that has no affect on gameplay so why add it?

For fun. Or perhaps, if not that, add swords or something, to give you another option for fighting other soldiers or a tank whilst on foot.

Larger scale infantry combat sould be cool, I wish more players would 1v1 ms in an infantry battle

Exactly. And wouldnt a cavalry sword be a cool addition?

How about making climbable ladders, and putting them in places like in the zep, or on the boats.

How about making boats explorable? Maybe even make some towns or something around the map so there is more than just grassy hills to see and explore?

How about making stealth bombing illegal? It takes away the fun of the game, and is unfair. I can see it being used irl, but here it is just annoying and rude. Like spawnkilling, but not as bad.

If you are out numbered then yes it's poor sportsmanship to sneak on you, however if the teams are even, or close to even, then it's up to the pilots to pay attention.

If you don't see a player after awhile, check the roster to see if they are still in the game. If they are, they may be parked, or they may be sneaking. It's at that time you use team chat to alert your teammates of a potential sneaker. Then you defend against him.

If your teams are even, or near even, but someone keeps sneaking and getting your hangers, you only have yourself to blame, not the act itself. Become a better pilot and work on team work, rather than asking it to be illegal.

With that said, once again it's not good sportsmanship to do it if you outnumber the other team, however, you will find some pilots who don't care, they just want to win, and get hangers.

Thanks. Now, for more ideas: being able to jump from your flying plane, and watch it fly away; and the addition of a jump skill to the soldier. I want to jump over tanks.

So far, these are my best ideas for improving soldier: running, swimming, sword, and anti tank grenade (to help deal with spawnkilling tanks). Anyone want to expand on these?

i wont say i dont like the ideas but you forget "this is dogfight, a game with planes" its good to have tanks and soldier but i prefer to upgrade on the planes then tank/soldier. just saying

And why is that?

Because it is simply unrealistic. Masses of soldiers didnt wield swords, so the idea is ludicrous.

So is a zepillin in WW2, an aircraft carrier in WW1, and parachutes standing like brick walls when crashed into. And the ability to travel through time. And die thousands of times (respawning). And type in chat to other pilots while in the air. And pilots being unable to swim. And stairs being un-climbable. And a zepellin with a ladder on top leading a little ways down into the hollow nothingness inside. Propellers spinning not only as usual, but also rotating this way and that. You know what else isn't realistic about it? Us discussing how realistic or unrealistic the game is.

Hey everyone, i belong to a couple groups in other simulation combat games for a long time and the best ones are like search/destroy or guard/defend. For example in call of duty 2 the wholle isle of britian was grid or sectioned with differ attributes and one of 3 designations owed axis, allies or vacant. And every week all ajoining sections could challlenge for best of 7. So have axis team and allies team with squads, example-Misfits, M.O.M, skystalkers and Wolf Pack axis and TFL, EOI, 666th and Gunners make new thread on forums ith stats. With how Gunners has Alpha Beta Charlie Teams could do one team a week or all three. Just need to trust all play honestly or my bad Morally could be idea for the hat. Some basic idea.well back to the blue only got 300 til lvl 17. SYOTOS

Gunners Inc has sponsored a few contests (wars?) in the past, which were for a short period of time and was really fun for all. They were based on the most kills, or most wins, but it was individuals not squads.

The one problem with squad wars from that aspect, or basing it on points, is you have different sizes of squads, and some squads even if big may not have many active players, thus if you base it off of total points, kills, or wins for a squad, how to account for total squad members flying. Would there be a handicap, or average it out over number of flyers?

Squad A earns 100,000 points, but has 20 members flying = 5,000/member
Squad B earns 45,000 points, but has 8 members flying = 5,625/member thus they would win

The current squad wars isn't what most people thought it would be, it's only based on which squad has the most points, thus the biggest squad with the most active flyers will end of winning, but that's not really a war is it?

Another problem if you wanted to have squad vs. squad in a game, what happens if someone from another squad jumps in, but doesn't want to leave because they are random and don't want to wait 7 minutes for a different game?

Or if any N or Ala21 wants to battle, well they ALWAYS bring really bad lag, so that will affect things too.

Thanks for quick reply there flash, lol. Only have a set number of players per squad lets say 8v8 with 3 teams alpha beta charlie. For each squad have internal duels to fill spots or decided by MORAF. If squad doesnt have players up to them if still want to participate so could be 8v6 but 6 plays all 3 teams. Each moraf makes decisions on attack plan and gets together with moraf of squad in connecting sections to be challenged. Just because have more players doesnt mean anything otner than quanity. Also with squad wars should be best of best and proven by position tryouts. Tryouts could consist of k/d, wins, whose better pilot and team dynamics who plays best with who. Most work is squad internal, and just make overview map of britian section up see how many squads particapting, place historically or just opposite ends of britian. And its not points its who can take and hold more sections. For axis and allies then could stat anyway want just fair. Who held/took most sections kills could be differ award etc.... but if got dedicated pilots and serious about competition its awesome. Sorry i love competitions like the one explaining and makes pilots more active to help squad and to improve own skills to maybe win one of the spots or be alt. For no shows. But just a thought, you guys have more experience with this game and stuff. Ya i used to do huge lan parties (million man lan) up down eastcoast. Medal of honor, battlefield vietnam, microsoft AirCombat vendetta online, Naval frontlines and wings of duty some squads are considering. It doesnt have to be britian, could be pearl harbor or a fictional scenerio. Im done for now just got lvl 17 and tryi g to get 18 soon. Hit me up if could be possibility. Fly valorus, fly deadly
