I don't know if it's on both carriers above and below deck, but I was below deck of the east carrier.when I hit "retry" after time ran out, I respawned right where I sat below deck, with a fresh timer. Also happend when shot once.

Another problem I noticed, is that there are trees in some parts of the water, that stick up through the hull and make you crash when below deck.

hopefully that would get fixed once all the trees are removed from the lakes...

i presume they will be removed from the lakes? since trees growing under water are very silly?

It seems the Russians really do have tall warships on the Caspian Sea, which some might call a lake, but I don't know if they have trees there in the lake.
In most reservoirs they have them....
Should someone talk to the press officer of the navy about this?

(Incidentally, on another aircraft game the latest glitch is that you are in a Dauntlet with a Japanese carrier as your home base.
Seems like there is no escaping the Matrix, whereever you go.)

Many lakes have growing trees in them . . . it is known as flooding due to heavy rainfall and/or runoff. Now having an aircraft carrier in a lake in the first place . . . that is kind of silly.

It would be kind of cool if Zup could pick those carriers up and move them off the coast in Elite. There is a lot of empty out there in the miasma off the coast.

Can you tell me around where in the lake? It's pretty big and I've spent a few hours riding the boats trying to pinpoint the locations...

Zup, it's mostly the East lake near the Southern border.

One time I was inside the carrier in a CTC mission, only to be hit by a tree and crashed.

I haven't really noticed it in the West lake, but probably some trees there as well.

Also, if you're inside the carrier (East lake for sure) and you try to taxi inside, you have a hard time. I think because it's picking up the terrain underneath the carrier.

I should say that these issues are ONLY in Elite, DF1 is ok.
