I just can't seem to get enough money for Planes WITHOUT just shooting down planes. Can anyone give me some tips? (P.S. I'm only a level seven, I won't be able to shoot down Zip)

Just keep playing and you'll get there.

Took me a long time to earn the coin for planes.

You get points for 1) Winning games. A "win" is worth 200 points, and different game modes have different win totals; 2) shooting down planes. A plane is worth 50 points, as is the paratrooper; 3) Bombing hangars. If I'm correct, a hangar is 100 points, 4) Landing safely in a parachute. I think that's worth 50 points.

So, always shoot at paratroopers, always try to parachute out of your plane, and do anything in order to win the game. In an inferior plane, flying high or skirting the border of the map to be off radar and timing your charge with when there will be no reds spawning (I.e. about 20 seconds after they've died, especially if they've gotten near your base) to the red hangars/carrier is a great way to win Bombing missions.

Make sure you completed all the practice sessions and collected the money for each one. That's where the big bucks come from.

How points are scored:

- When you safely land using the parachute, you get 50 points.
- Bombing a hangar gives you 75 points.
- Bombing a carrier gives you 75 points.
- Winning a game gives you 200 points.
- Losing a game gives you 100 points....as long as you stay until the end.
- Killing a blue makes you lose 50 points.
- Bombing a friendly hangar makes you lose 200 points.


- Killing enemies is calculated on the difference between your ranks, if you are a rank 31 killing a rank 3, you will get almost no points. But if you are rank 3 and bring down a rank 31, you will get lots of points. (I don't know what the max and minimum point awards are.)

Mission specific things, for instance, the zeppelin mission:
-The zep has a total amount of points. When you hit it, you get some of those points. At the end of the game, if you brought down the zep you will get all its points, but if you didn't, the defending team will get 700 points each. (I believe you can earn as much as 2600 points for a solo zep game: no blue Germans)

-I'm not sure what the points are for ctf.
