Zup,

Considering the high number of dirty-mouthed players we face, and considering the fact that they use to change their nicknames almost everyday to prevent being "caught", I really believe that this name-changing feature could be simply extinguished.

OK, its fun to change your nick sometimes (just out of fun, or to pay tribute to someone, etc), but this feature is allowing way more nasty behaviors than helping us to have fun.

Of course that a player could create a new account and play under a new nick, as I did when I made Morafness, just to begin from zero; but creating a new account just to change one's nickname simply doesn't pay, for obvious reasons.

An alternative (and not so-radical) measure would be to allow this feature only for REGULAR SUBSCRIBERS!

How about it? It would be a good subject to a new poll...

I took the RED PILL!

i agree with that idea ped. nowadays i don't really view any new name i see as being a new person. i would assume new people still join the game but for the most part it's people that are just jumping into a new character. sometimes the character they play is nice, other times not so much.

so what the heck? rock the discotheque!

Maybe even charge money for a change of name. Would deter some folks I'm sure, and bring in revenue.

I believe many players like being able to change their names occasionally.. zuperman has already put a time limit on how often you can do it... so perhaps just make that time limit even longer.. like say 72 hours?

Agreed. I don't understand the name change anyway. A name is a brand; I'd never change mine. I greatly dislike when seasoned players change names - I can't keep up. Maybe once every 3 to 6 months for those who have a creative heart.

IMHO it seems that nickname changes by established players are done with a sense of play, and add to the fun of the game.... we are the many

the nickname changes done by the trolls and malcontents to hide their identities do so to continue to disrupt the game and make it less enjoyable for all.... these are the few

to punish the many for the crimes of the few somehow doesn't seem fair....

I for one really enjoyed the seasonal themes, the Brady Bunch and all the other creative names I wish I'd thought of!!

perhaps an investment of time into the game to level 5 before chat becomes available would weed out the trolls and fly by nights....

For some of the wide eyed struggling kids in these turbulent times, lacking guidance at an impressionable age, it it is hard to find their real identity.

Maybe as a new player, flying on his free trial account, one should have the choice to change your name daily,......but later on, when getting the' paid for' app and create an account one should have made a name for oneself, so to speak.
Maybe a forum account name should be automatically linked.

I someone applies for a name change,.......the former names could stay mentioned in the forum account.

In my opimion a numeric codic is more efficient in the problematic of identity players. this numerical code should be visible in the player's profile. the players can change the nikname, but the numerical indentification code remain.
