Manfred, that's another Android OS thing I can't control. On my end all I do is call a function to "display keyboard".
It also gets very tricky because most manufacturers add their custom keyboard which makes it really problematic. The default google android keyboard (it's on the google app store) is usually the one that works best. I've seen all kind of crazy stuff going on with LG custom keyboard for instance.

I'm on Apple and my chat does that too, although my other controls are on a slight delay as well

it's a problem in all OS. Apple does the animation thing, so it takes a while to load into memory and display it. Android does something similar but since it also allows for custom keyboards, it can take even longer or don't work at all depending on who wrote that keyboard.

It has nothing to do with the game though. On my end all I do is tell the system to show the keyboard and I have no control over it. Your keyboard could be in Chinese, I wouldn't know.

- Option to watch a video ad instead of waiting the queue (availability depends on the ad network).

And I released it to android to see how it behaves.

Just a question
Yesterday I was in a bomb the carrier game.
The lag was very bad
One player just seemed to be vibrating at the edge of the map and complaining bitterly
When someone suggested he leave he said he didn't want to as he was not a subscriber and would have to wait 6 mins
My question is this,
If subscribers are supposed to be on faster better servers why are non subscribers on the same servers?

because it also depends on how many people are connected to each zone, the servers move people around to try to keep the fastest connection
also, if they are on apple, it's pretty random because they don't have the update (3 weeks already ?)

anyway, why is this on fixes for dogfight 4.4.82 ? off-topic!

Hi ZUP

It appears I had auto update, got home went to play, game loaded then went into optimization mode, while it was optimizing, I notice the video freeze but the sound continued. When it completed I notice pink tree's at the end of optimized, then after the video continued, then closed. Back onto home screen, touch for Dogfight, it opens then immediately closed- I've tried cleaning the cache, reinstalled but it won't open.

Dogfight 4.4.81
Galaxy Note 10.1
Android 5.0.2

try this, reinstall and don't wait for the pink trees, kill the app before they are loaded.
Then enter again, it should work. I'm afraid it's a bug on the trees shader that makes it crash on your device. By killing it before they are loaded, they won't be loaded during the game play.

Biggy Z,

I just tried that it didn't work for me (same results), reinstalled during level 3 optimizing I began hitting the back button to stop the app. It just played out the optimization. So I went into settings, app, Dogfight, cleared cache and data. Re-ran the loading and before Level four optimizing I tried power cycling and fail to properly install. it continually just flashes back to home screen.

I'll see if I have any older 4.+ android Operation/systems and google gapps, and try reinstalling later.

Question- prior to the 4.4.82 update what could be different that may prevent the system from loading. has anyone else having loading problems on android lollipop 5.+?

it doesn't freeze (that's why you still hear the music), it's loading the new terrain system with all those trees (more than 40000 trees) and it takes some time.
Instead of hitting the back button, what you have to do is hit the home button. It will exit the app. Then on the task manager (I believe hitting the home button twice), slide the app out, so it will kill it. Or go into settings and kill it or just reboot your phone if you don't know how to kill the particular app. Because although you are out of the app, it's still loaded into memory unless you kill it and will continue optimizing as soon as you go back.

As for my part, I didn't change anything but the game engine I use, Unity, may have changed something.

Zup.i love the weather good job. Im.on.andriod. and yes i pay the new update is way cool but im.still.seeing ghost spawning and now the tanks are vibrating and sinking when i shoot one with a tank it looks like the round goes past them but i hit them. My connection is good. I did an uninstall and complete reinstall but did not see the optimization. I wpuld imagine that the guys is popping in and out are not subscribers. Other than the couple of glitches job well done

darraxx that has nothing to do with your phone, it is due to Apple still having version 4.4.79 (they are 3 weeks behind). Until apple releases the update, you will keep seeing those problems, no matter what version you have.

@dxp, I just got an email from unity with a fix, i'll make an update today and it should fix your pink trees.

Zup,

Not sure if this is handled by the local game app or not. These days, when I log onto the Western U.S. server (I'm in southern California), about 60% of the time it will just hang at "logging on" and not move on. Eastern U.S., Western Europe, South America are all no problem (no problem logging in, but I get some lag on those).

The bars for Western U.S. usually show gray (is that background bar color gray? I am colorblind in much of the spectrum), and maybe a green segment, but no red or yellow (I think).

@Manfred, if it is grey, it means disabled, otherwise it should be green/yellow/red. Probably your issue is that those servers were changed last week but the app doesn't know about it until you get the last update. Right now, tt needs to get the new info from the internet which takes a few seconds. The trick, on the server list, wait for it 5 to 10 seconds so it gets the right info and then connect. It should fix those weird logging on forever thing.

It worked that update work, and I got to play a night time Zep. I saw the stars and the moon. It was beautiful. The speed and firing was great, I even crashed into a plane and both listed crashed. I parachuted and a plane struck me, and listed as crash. So far so good I'm very pleased so far. Can't wait to have some time and play out the other games. Glad you to a deeper look.

Just in a Zep game with stihac.
I was attacking he was defending
After shooting me down several times he called a stalemate
I could see the zep over his airfield but he said it was over my base and had missed one hangar.
He left and I got "kicked"
I am on an Apple iPad 2 so now 2 updates behind.
3 weeks and no progress
Somebody at Apple doesn't like us!
