I'm just curious about the process of picking the actual team (red or blue)that someone gets assigned to when joining a game. how is this done, exactly?

After you go through the screens choosing "play" then a server you will then see a plane allied or german, choose the one it shows or hit X at the left bottom and start over.nobody knows what game they will get till they pick the plane. Got friends on world chat you can try to get in the same game and on the same side but no gaurentees.

I would assume the language and algorithm used to determine these things will not be released in detail by Mr. Zuperman.

I have the game loaded on more than one device. While I rarely play on anything other than my Kindle Fire HD, I use my phone and my PC to access the forum. I can log into a game on my kindle while my phone is in world (or squad) chat. I often use this to tell my squad mates where to find me so we can be on the same team.

I can log in and find a good game, then use my phone to post "Vimy, Allied" and we can all pile into a game on the same side.


I wonder how this effects the loading of the game. If there is some sort of "switch" which loads a server by putting the first player in Allied, second in German, third Allied, etc... what happens if the second player exits?

I wonder when you are "assigned" to a particular game. Is it when you enter the hangar? That's when you are committed to German or Allied. Sometimes I spend an bit of time in the hangar, checking out planes , paints, upgrades and abilities. Am I taking up a spot in a game while doing so? I doubt it. My guess is that you are assigned to a game when you push forward from the hangar to play. This would mean that you have "chosen" your side before you have entered a game. Of course the only choice you have once you have entered a randomly selected hangar is wether you want to play or go "back". It would be nice if you could select german or allied.

*Sigh* I suppose that would bring on a whole new set of issues.

I think it's a little more random, hence the lopsided teams. sometimes i join a new game, but find that I end up with 8 blues and no reds. Other times it seem to be more balanced

I understand all that its why at times all even & other times 9 on 1 etc.

exactly, but then I guess in war you never know exaqctly what you're going to face

It's all random..u can switch to help a lone pilot..I do even if it is at the loss of the game...play for fun rule no 1....
