I guess this is more aimed at Zup but I was wondering if we could have the support section on the forum beefed up so that it would include the following features:
- Current server status (could list if server is up/down, busy, rebooting, when the next reboot will be)
- I listing of current bugs (lists the issue, known devices to have this issue, what they should do such as who to contact and what information they should provide)
- For each bug an area where players can add their name to the list who are experiencing that issue
- Update timelines and feedback on that update
I thought this may cut down the amount of email sent to Zup for the same issue sicne they could just add their name and know they will be looked after when the problem is fixed since they are on the list. Also server status will help since I was in world chat when he said he had put the new code on the servers and they are rebooting and it will be just a little while until the servers settle. When I told others we all just relaxed since there was nothing to do but wait but those who didn't know were posting all kinds of stuff one the forum that could have been avoided IMO.
