This may sound silly - on second thought maybe it won't - but I actually feel guilty using the d8, and when I'm at the top of the leader board with a "You Win!" at the end of the match it doesn't feel like I earned it. I think it's because I know I'm playing with an advantage that I didn't earn through practice and experience. Of course the d8 is beatable - I've had success against seasoned players using them but I spend way more time in a parachute when I play as allied. I can't help but feel like a bully when that poor Lieutenant or Group Captain leaves the game with a 0-12 KDR at my hands, even though I didn't touch the fire button until they've had a chance to zero in and start firing first. I might even stop playing with it altogether.
I can't deny though, fighting the d8 will teach you how to quickly aim and shoot accurately - it's made taking down everything else sinfully easy
