I would like it if I could have a longer in game name. My reasons for being able to use longer names are simple, The name I use on the fourm doesn't fit if I try to use it as an in game name.

Most people's screens would be filled up if everyone had names that long. Perhaps invent a squad code to show squad ranks (if you need it, everyone should aleadt know their leader)

what would be great is if you could hide names in-game or see an abbreviated view of them. Like instead of "Gunnerss inc..... Mac McMcMcMcMc", you would see "Mac McM"... That would help visibility immensely

True and true you both have very good points but to solve the names taking up to much space you simply make the characters smaller (font)
