I had heard of a train once existing in Df. I believe it is no longer there, but I had heard that it existed. If by any chance, someone from the older days of Df, has a screen shot of this train and could share it on this post, it would be awesome. Because I personally like trains as much as planes.

It took some looking, but if found a couple.

Did the train move in a big circle or was it stationary on a dead end piece of track.

It ran along tracks from the small brick building in the middle East of the map, over across the bridge and then into the building at the end of the bridge. Then it went back to the East through the underground tunnels.

It did not stay on the tracks very well and seemed to cause a lot of lag.

I know what you structure you are talking about. There is an abandoned or was an abandoned structure in the east, but it looks like zip took it out.

It never made it to iPads or iPhones by the time apple approved the update it was in a new update had superseded it. Was very disappointed at the time, wanted to stand in front of it as soldier or tank.

Does anyone know if you could see the train disappear into the buildings/tunnels with the train and reappear on the other side with the train.

If you killed the prop you died, you had to maintain the same speed as the train so land on or fly with your wheels on it. A matter of definition I guess.
As you can see on the pic my plane wasn't on the roof of the train, but in the colewagon.

I would have called it the "Cannon Ball Express".....

The train may be back eventually. It never made it into a big release because it was giving an extraordinary amount of trouble on some older phones. So I had to decide between leaving many people out of the game (the train would crash their games) or leaving the train out for now.

The choice was simple. Although as I said... that's a temporary decision until a new train system is in place.

The train had no purpose, it was released to test it out. If it had worked it was going to be a new kind of mission with one team protecting the cargo and another trying to destroy it. The train had to also cross the bridge, and the bridge as you know, can be destroyed too.
