Hey Guys,

Today I was in BTC mission and we had a couple of high ones. We were out numbered like 7 to 3. Pulling my plane up to fire, I began to lose speed and stalled. So, in order to reach the target and bring it down, I did drop. What are your opinions on dropping for this matter? Should the dropper then report to carrier to pickup a bomb... should the dropper continue to the enemy carrier and shoot down more fighters.... shoot the dropper not drop in the first place and just let the enemy bomb your own carrier...?

Oh yeah, it wasn't 7-3 either. Only 8 can be in a game at a time...

Do what you can to defend, Period. There is no 'rule' against dropping and if someone complains tell them to join the Whiners and Crybabies Squad [ WCS ]

Okay, we got the point the first time. This is turning into a personal attack.

I drop to defend, I drop to escort, I drop to pre occupy the reds, I only bomb when I am by myself;)

If you take it as a personal attack so be it but you weren't even on my radar when I typed it...

After dropping to defend, I always try to go back and reload at the carrier. Call me a masochist but I feel a certain sense of accomplishment about being able to penetrate a well-defended base or carrier and give it a loud greeting card.

Absolutely...time is of the essence. If I notice a high flyer, I will drop to reach it. And if possible, I'll return to base to reload. If the field isn't clear and reds are shooting at me, I'll do my best to send them back to red base, then return and reload.

Do what ever you like it is all up to you unless you have squad rules in the way.
