On Xbox controllers the Left analog stick is used to fly. I can't tell you how wonderful it would be if the Right analog stick worked as well for this. Is that possible? For me it feels more natural steering with my with my right hand.
The right upper bumper button does nothing now. Could be set to mimic the A button (shooting)for right handed users. I'm not saying replace the left stick for flight, but having both active, or an option to pick.

PS: There's no Brake button.
Can the B button action get moved (quit/resume), it's a bit dangerous if accidently clicked while going for Y (drop bomb).

I'm really wanting to get a controller, but I can't make flying with my left hand work for me. Some controllers let you adjust stick sensitivity, but only for the right hand. Currently I use the key board.
