Seriously, just joined a game and 2 out of 3 enemy's were immune. I never was at any time (that I know) and I'm on apple. so what's the deal?

Hey baron, I don't know why there is immunity? :huh: It is really frustrating, it might be trying to help younger ranks out or something. But I knw that sometimes air vice marshalls are immune at times. I'm sorry that I can't help you much, see you I the skies

Yeah, the only times it relly is annoying is when there are decent players on the other team that are immune! :dry: That's relly the only thing that bugs me ;)

It's good if like a luetenant or an aspirant is immune, because I would feel guilty if I killed them :S But commodores and generals are a bit much!

So now it's a race game? How fast can you dodge bullets and bomb airport while planes are straight flying and bombing yours!
You start praying for an aspirant on your team to at least slow them down! I'll give up all my bullets for another bomb. As long as it doesn't slow me down more.

zuperman, i dont think immunity is necessary at all, for anyone. anyone deadly enough to spawnkill probably understands that they shouldnt do it. i read old threads asking for it, and i think we realize the error of our ways. immunity is honestly an annoyance for experienced players who can accually kill stuff, and for new players, well, they'll die quickly anyway. i try to support them and give them an easier time, but they need to learn that not knowing what they're doing wont make them immune from the top players. i cant survive as long as some players because they can kill me and i cant kill them no matter how many shots i hit them with.

no, its supposed to keep players below III Group Captain safe for about 10 seconds after takeoff, and theoretically no one can die before they have a chance to take off. since i've been on both ends of that gun, and try to avoid both ends as much as possible, i know that it rarely works. i've been shot before im off, and i've been getting shot since i was an aspirant. i dont spawnkill unless its the only way i can possibly get thru with a bomb, and i never do with players that cant handle themselves. i dont like cheap kills.

Is that really the reason, to protect aspirants for 10 secs? Still doesn't explain why high rankers can be immune, and sometimes for minutes on end. Some players are immune to me for the whole game almost, but someone else can kill them easily? Immune tanks are especially frustrating

Everyone is supposed to be immune while theyre still on the ground. A glitch causes people to remain immune no matter what rank they are. I dont think immunity is important, it should just be completely removed instead of being tinkered with.

As far as i know its only apple users who are affected by the immune players.Yes i get noobs immune on take off but thats it.once in the air everyone is fair game.
Any android users getting immune?I'd be suprised if there is.
Apple update needs pushed.When it does i hope the turning circle is reduced to android capabilities.Ive played both and there is a difference you can turn tighter using Apple.

I sometimes unleash 100 rounds before noticing the immunity message ticking overhead and then get shot from behind... but I REALLY appreciate giving the lowest ranks a chance to get airborne - even though sometime they get all the way to the carriers and bases.

Another solution would be more of a rank filter on joining multiplayer games so that Aspirant, 2nd Lt. and Lt. get filtered into their own games until they rank up - that would encourage them and reduce the aerial slaughters when you see low ranks go 0-15 in a game.

I dissagree with that. I enjoy helping brand new players out. Skydavis said that as an aspirant, 420 taught him to turn. With that, there wouldnt be a skydavis, just some random player whos ok fighting head on, or maybe he would have quit early. Mbizzi was in some of my first games, and i made a point of getting a kill eventually. As you can see, playing he best has helped me.
