It's been 2 years.

I've had a lot of fun, especially when my kids were playing. I think it's time to go while the memories are still good. I hope Joaquin and echoboom can get the details worked out so the game can grow. I'll probably pop in for a game here and there but for now I've had enough.

Please, all of you who hate each other, just let it go and give each other the benefit of the doubt. Your bickering has driven off a lot of good people (including me) and your feelings of anamosity infect new players. I know it's a war game and enemies can be a good thing, just try to keep it in the skies.

I'll be in and out of the forum for a while to finish off some NLR business. I'll be PM-ing the officers to provide some continuity where it's needed. I'm sorry to leave the squad but the time has come. (much earlier than I ever thought it would.)

I may finish my story thread. I don't know if anyone is interested beyond the few who have given their feed back. It was fun, It's the only creative writing I've done since school 20+ years ago. If you have any contributions please post them soon or at least let me know they are coming so I can know to watch for them. If anyone would like to take it over let me know. It would be easiest for a squad moderator to handle so editing can be easily done.

It really has been an honor to get to know so many of you. Please bury hatchets where ever you can. Don't be afraid to reach accross lines between squads to be friends. Outside of the game there is no value in the us-vs-them thing.

McFate it's been a pleasure and I won't be far behind you,just waiting for Apple update. About the forum it has gone to h... Once we came here for fun and to make friends but all that has change. I really thought we was better than that, really didnt know a game could change people like it has. Cya around.

I usually dont post on farewells, mainly of the intent of ones departure. But surely when i come accross the good rather the bad, ill step in.
Good players come from a path of experience (time ingame) as well, and foremost talent & maturity.
In which you and many others have. I dont think (personaly) that you're departure will long live but rather a much needed break, thats what most of us all need from time to time. So take a break, and we'll see you again soon..

Ahhhh Fate just take some breaks in between flying, instead of feeling like you "have" to play. You will always have your place in the NLR and in our hearts. Also, maybe, I would suggest to just forget about the forum. Maybe less df stress that way. I personally absolutely hated when the forum was started. Felt it would eventually bring down the game. Lately I have pulled away from the forum, only visit to tell squad mates that I am heading up. I truly hope to be able to fly with you still, especially against you lol! Flying against you is definitely loads of fun. And to fly with you and chat. Well hun, hopefully sooner than later, but again no matter what!

Thank you so much for everything you've done for the squad! The entire game will miss you.

You have always been one of the "Great Fun Loving" examples that has always, let's the posative of a situation shine thru. Many of us bring so much heart to the forum, friends, and the new player that is trying to join in on the fun. As we do this, sometimes we can care to much, knowing the path that any giving situation appears to be going in a poor direction.

For me as a person that would like to see more fun and less undermining. I have to hold off on interjecting my opinions, because around every corner it seems someone is seeing the situation differently then I am. So then the bickering starts and next thing you know it is a big blowup, over some small miscommunication, or a simple joke that was taken out of context.

Much of the game has gotten quite nerve racking for many that have loved it so much (me included). I do hope you will, take a break as I have done recently, and bring your fun spirt back after a good recharging!

Till then, keep your chin up and enjoy your family over the holidays!
