I've seen a lot of pilots making great banners but they all have some kind of add to a company or that particular banner/photo editor name in the Corner. Most of my banners I make for myself and others are used with these sites and if you haven't seen them there in the LEGENDS banner library.
-1st you will want to go to pixlr.com and that's a free photo editor that has most of what Photoshop offers and there's also GIMP which is as good or better than Photoshop. When you get to pixlr.com you will see 3 tall boxes.. The 1st one (butterfly on it) is the photo editor (crop, cut&paste, resize, layer, filter, etc). Pick the desired banner size (height and length) then go to work!
-2nd If you want to add text to your banner you can use picfont.com they have 130+ fonts. Just upload it from your computer then click "text goes here" box it has a ocean seen on it.
examples of some of the fonts.
-3rd you will want to go to postimg.org to get the jpg/jpeg link. you need to sign up for it though but it also serves as another location to save pictures I think it requires a email, username and password no other information is needed. Just upload your banner then click "Upload It!" then it will load the image quick then yell be at another page and below your pic yell see the pictures info.. Copy the direct link then post it in your signature box on Dogfight.
Hope this helps you guys in the art of banner making and it will take sometime to get use to pixlr but all my banners are made with it and there not to horrible! :)and if you know any other good or free websites please share!
